-Michael's point of view-

Things aren't always as they seem.

Luke had a pretty obvious crush on me, that's for sure, and I knew that I returned those feelings. The thing was, however, the two of us did nothing about it. We spent an entire week making out in front of a middle aged man; it's hard to believe we're still shy around each other.

It was Friday. With nothing to do now that my after school punishment left with Mr. Smith, there was nothing to do. So I followed the first thing that came to mind: Luke. We both wanted to be with each other, so why wait longer to make something happen?

If pranks turn Luke on, then that's what's coming to him.

"Calum," I called, motioning for my best friend to come towards me. I found the boy walking towards the gates out of school.

"Yes?" Calum smiled as he approached me. Recently Calum and I had not spoken as much as usual due to the recent state of affairs, so an opportunity like this was rather rare.

"What's a good prank?"

Calum laughed. "You're joking, right? The most successful prankter in this school asking that?"

"No, seriously. It's an important one." I blushed, not wanting to confess it was for Luke.

"Why's it important? Mr. Smith has gone." Calum smirked. His eyes followed my head that fell in embarrassment.

"It's, erm, nothing. Don't worry. I can Google it," I turned around, trying to hide my blush.

"Michael! If you're trying to impress a girl then just tell me, I mean, you've done it countless times before." Calum paused and laughed. "Maybe that's a sign that pranks don't get girls."

"It's not for a girl," I ignored Calum's statement. "Luke did something and I want to get him back, that's all." I lied through gritted teeth. It wasn't that I was scared to confess that it was to impress Luke, it was just this wasn't the time to come out to my friend. I didn't even know what my own feelings were, let alone talking about them out loud.

"Punch him then." Calum said.

"I knew that you were no help!" I threw my arms up into the air to show my frustration and walked away from Calum. He called for me a couple of times, but I ignored them. Ignoring each other wasn't unusual in our friendship; deep down Calum and I knew that I wasn't mad. But only I knew that my infatuation for a certain blonde grew every second I thought about him.

As I turned a corner, I spotted Luke. He notice me immedietly, because who couldn't with my bright red hair, and he walked in my direction. "Speak of the devil and his horns appear," I said, smirking as Luke walked a little faster.

"You're calling me a devil?" Luke threw his arms around my neck, taking me by surprise.

"Yes." My lips curled into the biggest smile my face would allow as I looked at Luke. Since we're both the same height, our eyes met instantly.

"I'd call you an angel, but we both know you're nowhere near." Luke then pulled himself off of me and took a step back. He smiled too, showing off those handsome teeth. Oh Lord what I'd allow them to do to me.

My mind trailed back to my plan of pranking Luke. "Pfft, of course. I'm willing to anything bad, especially if it's for you, baby."

Something twinkled in Luke's eyes. He placed his right hand onto my shoulder and let it slide down to my bum seductively, then pinched it. Thankfully there was no one around to witness that. "Oh yeah? Then do me somewhere in public."
