-Yukino's view Point- (Yes I know we are finally getting her side!)
Sir Hawks wrapped his arms around me holding me close. I was still afraid of heights but with him I was a little less timid about it. I gently placed my hands on his, and closed my eyes.
I could hear his wings beating, and then the ground underneath me vanish. I swallowed hard, trying not to let Sir Hawks know that I was scared. I slowly opened my eyes to a busy looking street. Cars, busses people all moving around trying to get to their destination. My eyes widden taking in the beautiful sight. It was something new, something I never seen before.
After flying high above the busy street Sir Hawks said something in my ear. "Hey you can wear normal clothes here kimonos are kinda out of place, so let's get you some clothing, too. "
I smiled. I had a reasons why I wore them but I nodded. "Okay Sir Hawks.
We made it to the shopping district, he gently put me down on the sidewalk. I was getting better about flying, this time I didn't keep my eyes on the ground. "Heh, getting better at this huh baby bird?" I felt like he was teasing me. I looked up at him, still a little shakey but smiled.
"Long as I'm with you I'm not so afraid, Hawks."
He chuckled and then looked away from me running his hand through his messy hair, and then to the back of his neck. "Well kid, let's get this started. We got all day, but first let's go get us a phone." He smiled.
I nodded and smiled. "Okay Sir Hawks." I saw him roll his eyes and slump down.
"Kiiiiiid, come on now." I started to giggle and it turned into a laugh, trying to cover my mouth to muffle it. He started laughing back at me. "Alright come with me." He held out his hand for me and I gently grasped it. "Don't want the baby bird to get lost now." I could feel the heat coming up to my cheeks. I looked down trying to hide my face behind my hair.
"You okay there?" He teased. I averted my eyes from him and nodded slowly. I heard him chuckle. "If you say so, kid." He started walking with me behind him still holding his hand.
We didn't make it far into the shopping mall before people rushed over to us. "Hawks! Hawks! Where have you been?!" My eyes widden there was alot of people gathering around throwing questions. I couldn't keep up. The only question I heard was, "who is that?" And I felt all eyes on me.
I wanted to become small, I wanted to run. I was about to pull my hand out of Hawks and tied to run, but a red wing wrapped around me, shielding me from eyes. "She's a good friend of mine that is visiting. Sorry but shes a bit shy so can you give us some space?"
Hawks sounded like he was serious but at the same time joking. Slowly people disbursed leaving him and I alone.
He slowly unshielded me and I peeked out of his wing. The only people left was three women. They pretty much jumped on him asking for selfies and what not. I just stood there not sure if what was going on.
