-Hawk's veiw-
I was at home getting things ready for Fae, to come home. I was gonna try to make everything comfortable for her, because she was still in alot of pain. But tonight is all about her.
I showered and acted like we were going on a date once again. I loaded up netflix and was looking through the movies, as well as calling a food delivery. I thought I had every thing taken care of when I got a call on my phone.
Unknown Name
I gritted my teeth. Fuck you! Fuck you with a cactus! I answered the phone.
"Well hello sir Hawks." It was Momo.
"Hello." I couldn't even put on my mask, of how far I was pissed.
"So I've hear you found your little butterfly." I started gripping the back of the couch digging my nails into it. "Seems like she's the perfect fit for us." I could her her voice just trying to get me riled up. I bit the inside of my cheek. "So mind telling me, why you saved her?"
I was trying to choose my words wisely. This wasn't going to end nicely if I said the wrong thing. "I plan on trying to help her get the heirloom that you guys are looking for. If you have her under lock and key then she's not gonna find it." I was trying to lie through this. I couldn't let her know I was in love with her. I couldn't tell her to fuck off and leave her alone. No she would just kill her or take her from me or even use her against me.
"Well I never thought of that one, Hawks. Good thinking." She took the lie. I let out a sigh of relief. "You have a month. By the way we have the father's ring, you just needs the mother's ring, applently they are both keys to a lock that is unknown at the moment." I was biting my lip.
So we are gonna have to play a game of speed. We are gonna have to get the prize before them. "Any clues on where the mother's ring is?" I asked trying to get as much clues as I could.
"Well use that brain of yours birdman. You're a Hawk not a canary. Figure it out." After that she hung up. The sound of a busy time playing in the background, I threw my phone on the couch so it wouldn't break.
It bounced back up and the light caught the butterfly charm and make a blue butterfly on my hand. I couldn't help but to smile. "Damnit song bird you picked the perfect charm for me didn't you."
I placed my hand on my face and then sighed, finishing running it through my hair. My eyes fluttered closed.
"Keigo?" I could hear my name but I was lost in my mind. "Keigo-kun?" I could hear Fae but was not paying attention. Finally I felt her hand rub my arm trying to get my attention.
I turned and smiled at her. "Hey there songbird." She gave me a worried look.
"Keigo, are you okay? You didn't hear me when I came and and you didn't hear me when I was calling your name." Her eyes were looking back and forth between my trying to study my face.
"Yeah dove, I'm alright. Don't worry about it's okay." Her brows narrowed and she side eyed me. She wasn't dropping it.
"Keigo-kun please, tell me what's wrong. Please don't shut me out. That's not how trust works, I trust you. So please trust me."
She had a point. I sighed and leaned my head back and put my hand on my forehead. I was trying to figure out how to put this into words without sounding like I'm betraying her. I dropped my hand and looked at her.
"So the the Government's heros still has control over me. And I had to lie to keep your safe. But we have a month to find the heirloom. The clue my boss gave me was your mother's ring and your father's ring make a key to something."
Her eyes widden and she she looked scared. I reached out and grabbed her arms, gently.
"I. Will. Not. Let. Them. Take. You." I pronounce each and every word. "They will not have you. You are my songbird." I growled almost possessivly. Her eyes slowly soften and the drifted to the floor, and she softly nods.
I pulled her into a hug wrapping my wings around us. I barried my head into her neck and breathed in her sent of fresh rain and flowers. I felt her slowly move and placed her hands on my back, gripping into my Endeavor shirt.
"Keigo-kun" I heard her voice softly. I slowly pulled my face back so I could see her face.
"Mhmm?" I answered.
I saw her bit her lip, and then looked to the side slowly dropping her head. I gently cupped her chin and make her look at me. I looked in her icey blue eyes. "What is it dove?"
She slowly closed her eyes and then held them shut for a moment before opening them and looking at me. "I'm scared Keigo-kun. You're the only person I have left in this world. And I'm scared. I'm scared that you'll leave me too!" Her eyes started to water, I could feel her grip tighter on my shirt.
I quickly placed my lips on hers wrapping my hands around her waist and on the back of her head, trying to pull her as close as I could to me.
Once we broke for air I placed my forehead on hers. "I'm sorry, songbird but Hawks, we made for life. So I'm not going anywhere without you." She pulled away slightly and stared at me with awe, before kissing me lovingly. She wrapped her hands around my neck and pushed her body into mine.
Once she broke the kiss, she looked at me those icey blue eyes so full of love and warmth, never changed the way she looked at me since we were children. "And I won't leave without my love."
I could feel a smile slowly formed on my face as heat raised to my cheeks as well as hers. I cupped her cheeks and kissed her forehead head. "Well lets us enjoy the night, for once. Since you're finally home again." I teased her.
I pulled her into my arms and picked her up bridal style, jumping over the couch making us fall on the couch. She let out a small giggle as she nested into my lap and her head under my chin. I wrapped my arms around her and rubbed her back, between her wings.
I could hear a small coo sound coming from the back of her throat. "That kinda feels nice, love." I pulled my head back and kissed the top of her head.
"So dove, what movie are we watching? I got food on the way too!" I smiled. She pulled back and looked at me and then smiled.
"Anything is fine long as you like it." She smiled. I rolled my eyes.
"Come on now songbird. That's not how it goes. This night it all for you, so please. Pick something."
She looked from me to the tv, reaching for the remote control. "Okay how about this?" She randomly picked a comedy movie, and nuzzled back under my neck. I felt her kiss my jawline with a few light kisses before she started to watch the movie.
