-Fae's veiw-
I slowly opened my eyes to see Toga still sleeping. She had her arm wrapped around me, with her mouth open. A small string of drool dripped from the corner of her mouth. I couldn't help but to chuckle at her. Then it hit me. How did I get here?
I looked at the blonde and slowly looked over the room. Assuming it was hers by the pink wall paper and stuffed plushies every where. I squirmed out from underneath her arm and she rolled over to her back, and started to snore even louder.
I couldn't help but smile at her. I found my way to her connected bathroom and went to pee before wondering around.
Once I opened the door it almost looked familiar, there was a stair case at the end of the hall. When I went down stairs I was the bar I was familiar with when I first came here.
Kurogiri was standing behind the bar cleaning some glasses, when he spotted me. "Ah, good morning Miss Fae." I waved my hand with a yawn that fallowed.
"Mornin Sir Kuro." I yawned out his name. It looked like he was smiling at me.
" Do you remember anything that happened last night?" He asked softly putting some buttered toast down in front of me.
At first I shook my head and picked up the bread and was about to take a bite out of it. "Wait, I remember." I stopped and put the toast down and staired at it for a moment.
Slowly my eyes widden "Testu! she burned the whole apartment building!" I cried out. I looked up at Kurogiri and it looked like he nodded.
"it looked like Dabi saved you, he was gonna help Hawks but it looked like he was helping saving others." I nodded my head. " He brought you here and his soon to be wife healed you with her quirk so youre good at new." I smiled.
"I guess I need to thank Sir Dabi and lady Air." I gently spoke. "Are they even in their rooms?" Kurogiri shook his head.
"Well she's not here but Dabi is. His room should be in the last room on the right." I jumped from me seat and bowed to Kurogiri and ran up stairs.
Last door on the right. Once I got up there there was a black door with a sign that said Dabi on it.
I gently knocked, not realizing what time it was. I could hear some movement and then finally the door slowly opened.
"Hey dollface." He still had a morning voice to him. I couldn't help but to blush slightly.
"Hey Touya, may I come in?" I asked softly. Dabi opened the door and moved out of the way to let me in.
I walked to the middle of the room and looked around. The walls were a midnight blue with white specks here and there, I guessing it was supposed to be the night sky theme.
"So To-" he raised his hand up to stop me and walked over to his dresser. I heard some type of metal scrapping the wood as he grasped something from on top of it.
He walked over to me and stood in front of me. He held out his hand opened and the other one still closed. "Give me your hand Fae, this is yours." I looked at his hand and gave him mine with my palm facing up.
He gently put his closed hand in mine and opened it. I felt a cool metal drop into my hand and finally when he moved his I saw what it was.
It was my father ring. My eyes automatically started watering. My hand slowly grasped around it and I pulled it to my heart. I opened my mouth wanting to say thank you but nothing came out so I just mouthed it.
I saw Dabi smile and then ruffled my hair like I was a child. "It's fine, the man had it on him, and let's just say you won't be seeing him again." There was a smirk on Dabi's face. It put my heart at ease. "Now then go eat that way I can take you to your birdboy." I nodded my head, I was about to shove the ring in my pocket.
Before Dabi grabbed my sleave. "Here, Air can't wear this her skin eats the plating off, so maybe you can put the rings on it so you won't lose them" He handed me a simple gold chain.
"Thank you." I smiled. I opened the hook thing and slid the rings on to it and put it around my neck. I gave Dabi a quick smile before running back down stairs and grabbing my now cold toast. I quickly munched on it.
Once I was finished I looked at Kurogiri. "Can you port me to Hawks please, sir Kurogiri?" I asked. He looked at me.
"Well of course dear but be a little calm when you see him." He warned. I tilt my head I wasn't sure what he meant but he snapped his finger and a portal was made. I quickly stepped thought it and what I saw, made my heart stop.
Walking into a hospital room with white walls. There on the bed was Hawks, slightly burned on one side of his face. I quickly dropped to my knees and was fighting my tears back as I swallowed thickly.
"Baby bird?" His voice was soft almost whisper like. He didn't even move, but he knew I was here. "Don't cry hummingbird. I'm okay!" He chirped. Slowly he opened the unburned side of his face and looked over at me.
I breathed in shakily. "Come here baby." He spoke softly. I slowly crawled over to him. I placed my hands on the bed railing as he reached over and touched my cheek. Tears finally started rolling over and down.
"Kei-go" I stuttered his name. I could see a faint smile on his face.
"I love you Fae, remember I said." He teased. I shook my head no at him. "Fae, you make me want to keep my feet on the ground just for you." My eyes widden. Finally I realized he was the one who saved me. Dabi just took me on Hawks orders.
I started to wail into the sheets, I did this. He did this for me. I felt him pat my head in small strokes. "Shhhhh, it's okay my songbird, it's okay." Finally I looked up to him and I could see the golden shimmer of love still in his eyes.
He slowly sat up and kissed my forehead. "This...this is nothing compared to what I'll do for you baby bird." He smiled the best he could. I scrabble to try to catch my breath. I jumped up and hugged him.
I could hear him hiss in pain as I touched him but when I pulled away he pulled me right back, and hugged me just as tight.
"I love you so much baby bird! I am relieved that you are safe and okay." I could feel his warm tears hit my neck. I started to cry as well, followed with sobs.
As we sat there for a moment, then there was staring a small ringing sound. I looked down and saw the rings were glowing. I looked up to Keigo and he looked up to me.
"Heh would you look at at that." He whispered.
"When you make a great sacrifice for your love one and they did the same for you then then the rings would show you the way to their resting place." I repeated the words that my mother once said to me. I cupped the rings in my hands and there was a blue light coming off the rings, almost like it was a compass.
"Look baby bird you go ahead and go, I cant do much, here." He grunted. I quickly shook my head I remembered that we both have to be there.
"But you have to go with me." I cried out. I saw him bite his lip and then sigh. He put his hand on my head and patted it.
"Alright baby bird we will go tomorrow, just let us rest for now. Or at lest let me rest for now." He smiled. He leaned back into his bed and laid down. He opened up his arms and invited me to lay down with him.
His wings were nearly gone only bone and skin was left with a few feather clinging to the so called wings. I gently crawled into the bed with him and was trying to be as gentle as possible as I laid my my body beside him with my head and hand on his chest.
The smoothing sound of his heart beat was almost like a lallaby to me. My eyes begin to feel heavy, and slowly I fell asleep with Kegio in my arms.
