Natsuo held my hand as we were walking to his house. We didn't say much but I'm sure he could tell I was on edge. "Just as a warning father is a bit-" he looked down like he was thinking. "Aggressive." He finally said. I tilt my head.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Let's just say he's not a people person, to put it lightly." I nodded but still was a little confused but didn't push it. I guess I'll understand once I meet him.
We got to the Todoroki estate, it was a giant old fashion style Japanese house. My eyes lit up, and I smiled. "What? It's just an old house." Natsuo teased. I looked at him, with my mouth gaping.
"Are you kidding I grew up in one of types of houses I love them!" I jumped on his arm hugging it. He stared and then chuckled.
"Well I guess it's not too bad huh?"
We started walking inside and was greeted by a white hair girl. She had her arms crossed and was tapping her foot. "And where did you-" she stopped when she saw me. "Ummm, I didn't know you went to grab someone."
I bit my lip and waved. "Sorry, it's just that I didn't want to be left alone." I whispered. She gave me a confused look.
"Her father is in the hospital and she doesn't want to be alone, Fuyumi." Natsuo jumped in. Her eyes widden and she bowed.
"Sorry, I won't ask anything else." She started quickly walking away when a big burly man came into the hall.
His eyes watched as the girl walked by like someone kicked her puppy, and then over to Natsuo and me. His eyes widden as a smile spread across his face. "Yukino!" He shouted.
He made me jump of how loud he was even my wings sprang up and out. "Ye-yes?" I asked. He started laughing.
"I heard so much about you through Hawks my dear, come! Let me have a good look at you." My eyes narrowed but I kicked off my shoes and walked slowly to him.
He studied my face like he was trying to burn it into his mind. "Daaaaad, leave her alone." Natsuo tried to save me. But the blue eyes were glued to my face.
"You know Yukino you almost look like I girl I knew when I was his age. Sadly I don't remember her name on top of my head." I bit the inside of my cheeks I was really uncomfortable of his staring at me.
Natsuo grabbed my hand. "Sorry dad, but she she kinda scared right now so leave her be." The man scoffed at his son and then sighed. He bowed his head and left. I looked at Natsuo as he just rolled his eyes and started walking with me down the hall still holding my hand.
