A loud crash woke me up from my sleep. I jolted out of bed and grabbed one of my husband's lightsabers. My feet were surprisingly quiet against the wooden floors. I flipped on a light switch and walked into the living room, the hilt of the saber against my chest. My fingers dropped the weapon when I saw my husband on his hands and knees in pain. My mind was still trying to figure out what I was seeing but my legs ran me over to him. I helped him onto my side. "Please wife." He tried to shoo me off. A few tears were welling in my eyes. "No, don't you try that on me. I can't leave you like this." I kissed his temple and helped him up. "Please, (y/n)." He limped next to me. "Maul. No. You're clearly hurt and need help." My shoulder bumped the bathroom light switch turning the bright white lights on. He shielded his eyes with his good arm.

"Who did this to you?" I asked a tear escaping my eye. I wiped it away and continued to clean a small lightsaber cut on the left side of his chest. He winced and let out a long sigh. "My master, again." He looked down at me as I worked away at him. The way he was looking at me I knew what he wanted. I rolled my eyes lovingly and helped him off the counter so I could look at the cut better. He handed me a bacta pad, I grinned and placed the patch on the long cut. "Come on. You don't need to ask." I put my arm under his armpit and helped him to our bedroom.

He laid down with a jagged sigh. I shook my head and walked around to my side. He was in pain even aster the pain killers. I pulled the covers over us and laid my head on his good shoulder. He wrapped his arm around my waist. I lazily traced some of his markings on his chest. He yawned and closed his eyes. "I love you (y/n), with all of my heart." He mumbled before drifting off to sleep. "I love you too." I kissed his jaw. Even though he was next to me sleeping and healing, I couldn't sleep. Something wasn't right.

"(Y/n) please try and sleep." He mumbled as he turned onto his stomach. I turned around. He wrapped his arm around my waist and dragged me next to his side. I sighed and closed my eyes. His breath on my neck calmed me. I relaxed and fell asleep.

The sun shone into the room through the windows. I opened my eyes. Maul's hand was still around my waist. I turned around and saw him grinning and gazing down at me. "You're the cutest sleeper you know?" He smirked. I giggled and kissed him. He pulled me flush against him. My arms locked around his neck. We parted for a second to catch our breaths and went right back to each other's company. Our bodies moved in sync. I sat on his hips and leaned down. "This is why I wake up every morning." I whispered into the kiss. "I'd hope so." He smirked and leaned up and kissed me again with even more passion. I pulled back. "What?" He asked. I stayed quiet. "I love you." I smirked and kissed his forehead. "Damn it you!" He laughed and gave me the pleasure of scaring him. I got off him and out of bed. My pajama shorts were ruffled against my ass and my bra straps weren't on my shoulders. "You're hot." He mumbled to himself. I turned around and took my shorts off. "What about now?" I took in the surprised look on his face. That look soon turned to a lustful look in his eye. I giggled and helped him out of bed. He slapped my almost bare ass. "Nadala shot." I glared at him with a smirk on my face. "What does that mean?" He asked. "It means hot shot. Hot shot." I grinned. "Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum." I kissed his cheekbone. "You know you're really hot when you're speaking Mando'a in your underwear?" He gave me a smirk as he walked into the closet. "I love you too." He said from the closet. "That's meg gar ve'ganir par marrying a mandolorian!" I yelled. "Best decision to take a Mandolorian from her home planet." He walked out in his dark robes. His saber attached to his belt. I pecked his lips and hugged him. "Be careful." I whispered. "I know." He whispered back. He kissed the top of my head and left to find his master.
