(Reader is 24 for context)Order 66.
The 2 words that could send any survivor into shock. The 2 words that could send ME into shock. The order was simple, all clones under any circumstance must kill all the Jedi. If not you would be deemed a traitor and be killed.
Mustafar was a hot planet. Lava rivers flowed through valleys and power plants. Me and Obi-wan were situated on the planet, he was after Anakin and I was after my sister, Padmae Amidala.
"You're with him! You brought him here to kill me!" Anakin yelled when he saw Obi-Wan and me. Padmae rose in the air holding her neck, Anakin was fore choking her. "Let her go, Anakin!" Obi-Wan yelled at his former apprentice. "Anakin..." Padmae whimpered as she gasped for air. "Let... her... go!" Obi-Wan stated again. Anakin looked up at his former master and me, his new Padawan. He saw the look in my eyes and dropped her. Padmae fell unconscious. "You turned her against me!" Anakin shouted as Obi-Wan walked down the ramp. I sprinted to Padmae and held her head in my lap checking her vitals. "You have done that yourself!" Obi-Wan looked down at me and Padmae before approaching him. "You will not take her from me!" Anakin glared at me, his eyes were no longer the pretty blue but instead neon yellow and red. "Your anger and your lust for power have already done that. You have allowed this Dark Lord to twist your mind, until now... until now, you have become the very thing you swore to destroy." Obi-Wan and Anakin circled the 2 of us. Padmae groaned and rolled over in my lap.
"Don't lecture me, Obi-Wan. I see through the lies of the Jedi. I do not fear the dark side as you do! I have brought peace, freedom, justice, and security to my new Empire!" The new Sith apprentice was angry over something that wasn't true. "Your new Empire?!" My master was confused. A new empire was occurring, the dead younglings and dying Jedi was a sure sign of it."Don't make me kill you." Anakin unclipped his saber and held it. "Anakin, my allegiance is to the Republic, to democracy!" Obi-Wan yelled as he continued to circle us. Obi-Wan was fed up with Anakin's recklessness. "If you're not with me, then you're my enemy!" Anakin shouted at us. "Only a Sith deals in absolutes. I will do what I must." Obi-Wan took his lightsaber off his belt and held it. He looked at me and then back at Anakin. Igniting his saber he shrugged. "You will try." Anakin smiled before jumping up and starting a duel with Obi-Wan. I looked down at my sister before picking her up and hurrying her back to the ship. She'd gone in to stress induced labor. That day changed everything. Obi-Wan had beaten Anakin. Leaving him to die on the boiling hot planet. I regretted the decision we made. Padmae had twins and named them, Luke and Leia. Leia was sent to live with Senator Organa. Luke however was chosen to live on Tattoine with his aunt and uncle. Master Yoda had sent me and my master to live by him, to watch over the boy and continue my training.
We sat a few miles from the house he was situated in. I sat on the sand around the fire. Obi-Wan was away looking for land for us to build on. A large imperial ship landed in front of the dome. I stood up and put the fire out, grabbing my lightsaber as well for protection. I started to sprint in the direction of the hut. I wouldn't let them get him. "Hey!" I shouted as I ran faster at the clones. "Hey!" I yelled again. A squad went into the house and the rest came after me. "Leave them alone!" I shouted, igniting my saber and running at them. "Get them! It's a Jedi!" They started to shoot at me, I blocked half the shots. I was about 50 feet from them when I was struck in the chest with a loose shot.
I woke up screaming and gasping for air. Grabbing my chest I kept panting. Someone grabbed my shoulder and held it. I looked over and saw Obi-Wan. He was concerned for me. I wiped tears from my eyes and stared at him. "I-I-I, They shot him, they shot me." I panted before hugging him. He laid back down and held me to his side. "Who shot you (Y/n)?" He asked me rubbing my bare back. I buried my head into his neck still crying. "The clones. They came for him then I saw them and tried to stop them and, and, and then they started shooting at me, and then I got shot and I woke up." I explained to him shaking. Obi-Wan lifted my chin up with his finger, "Well, I'm here now. Nothing will happen to you." Obi-Wan leaned closer and kissed my nose before wiping tears from my cheeks. I took a deep breath and laid back down cuddling closer into his side, if possible. He kept whispering sweet nothings to me to calm me down. His breathing steadied and it calmed me down even more. His chest rising and falling.
The man next to me was not only my Jedi master but my husband. Living alone together for so long made us realize our feelings toward each other. We were some of the last Jedi and we broke the rules falling in love. We however didn't care. The Jedi were wrong, expressing our feelings only made us stronger.
