"Don't fail. This mission will mean everything." Dooku ordered me from the hologram. "I've never failed." I smirked just before the projection turned off. I picked my saber off the table and clicked it onto my belt. A droid tapped my shoulder. "Uhm. Miss. Your ships waiting out back." He told me. "Thanks." I pushed him away as I walked to the back hangar.
My cloak fluttered in the wind as I stepped off my ship. The planet was a lush green forest. "We're investigating the ship now." Clone troopers. I jumped on top of the ship and waited. "Seems abandoned?" One said as he lowered his blaster. I pulled my hood up and jumped down. "Hey boys." My saber ignited. The two blades pushed through each of their necks. "So much for stealth." I mumbled. My feet sprinted towards the Republic hideout. I was sent to kill the Jedi and destroy the base. A simple task.
Obi-Wan's POV
A disturbance. I tilted my head up to Anakin who had just walked in. "You felt it too." He sat down across from me. "Keep your troops alert." I ordered. He nodded and repeated what I had said into his com link. This presence was dark yet familiar. "Master I'm going with Rex to scan the perimeter." Anakin stood up and nodded. I nodded back as he left. "Cody I need you to go with Anakin. Ill guard the base." I ordered my commander. "Yes general." He replied. I grabbed my saber off the table and walked out. The presence was getting stronger and stronger with every passing minute.
Your POV
I had a plan. A brilliant plan. I un clipped my saber. I took the crystals out of it and hid it in the bushes. The crystals flew into a small necklace around my neck. I rubbed mud over my tattoos covering my wrist. I pulled my hood up. My feet were light over the forest ground. "Woah." I faked. "Excuse me. This is republic property." Someone snuck up from my side. "Oh. I'm so sorry. I-I didn't know." I apologized. I turned to face the man. He was a tall man with auburn hair and blue eyes. "Who are you? You clearly don't look like one of the natives in this planet." He approached me. "My pod landed here. I ran out of fuel." I looked down at the ground. "We would gladly help you if we had any to spare." He was the Jedi I was looking for for sure. "Of course. You republic men are always making sure you can make it home. I love that about you all." I lied. "Oh. Well you're welcome to stay if you don't have anywhere to stay." He offered. Perfect. "That's so very kind of you. I couldn't." I straightened up a little. "Oh please one night. The beasts here are very deadly at night." He put his hand on my shoulder. "If you say so." I rolled my eyes under the shadow my hood gave me. "This way." He smiled and led me down a small path.
"I really wish I could supply you with the fuel you need but we're incredibly short so hopefully this will make due." He smiled and left. I gagged. "Damn Jedi think they own everything." I rolled my eyes and pulled my communicator out. "I'm in the camp. I'll try and keep you filled in as much as possible." I spoke until I heard a crunch outside.
Obi-Wan's POV
Anakin and his Captain walked into my tent. "We found the ship we sent troops to investigate earlier. The troops weren't as lucky as we were." Anakin sat down. "What do you mean?" I asked. "They must've gotten attacked by someone. Because they were missing their heads." Anakin shivered. "How could that be?" I leaned forward. "That's it though. The weapon was a lightsaber." Anakin knitted his eyebrows together in confusion. "A lightsaber. But their aren't any separatists around here nor other Jedi." I picked my saber up and examined it. "Who could it have been?" Rex asked. "That's just it. I haven't the slightest idea." I crossed my arms and leaned back. "Master I'll get our battalions to keep their guards up at all time." Anakin suggested. I shook my head. "The troops would stand nothing against a person with a saber. No offense Rex." I declined. "None taken sir. But even so. Why couldn't we have you guys swap watch tonight?" Rex sat down next to Anakin. "That could work." Anakin smirked at Rex. I smiled and shook my head. "Fine why not." I threw Anakin my saber. "Better safe than sorry." He smiled. Rex followed him out. The dark presence still lingered in the back of my mind. Haunting me. It wasn't dooku or grievous. Who or what was it?
