A second chance

                  I wake up at 7:00. Today I have to meet up with Sophie at the park, I remember. I get up and put on a black and white striped shirt and blue jeans. I look in the mirror and then at my scars on my arms. Having my arms exposed makes me very uncomfortable. I walk into the bathroom and look around. I open the medicine cabinet and take out some bandages and wrap them around my arms. I look back in the mirror. Much better. I walk downstairs and get some cereal for breakfast

             At around 9:50 I leave my house to go to the park. I wonder why Sophie wanted me to meet her there. Is the rest of the group going to be there or just me?

      Minutes pass and I make it to the park. There I find Sophie, Jaiden, and hunter.

         "Hey, Lexie over here." Sophie waves jumping up and down. I walk towards her and the rest of the group. "I have a great idea," she announces. "We just need to wait for Daniel."

     "Don't you hate Daniel?" Jaiden asks looking down at Sophie.

       "Bu-"

        "We should just start without him." Hunter interrupts. Sophie turns away for a few seconds before turning back around.

      "He is needed for the plan." Sophie confidently shakes her head up and down. "We can't start without him."

       "I'm here, sorry I'm late," Daniel says running towards the group.

       "You'd better be!" Sophie shouts at Daniel.

     "So what's this plan you have," I ask.

     "Oh yeah, the plan. I'm 99% sure Lucas likes Isaac." Sophie explains. "So we need to try to get them together."

       "Wait! I didn't even think of shipping them together!" Daniel exclaims.

         "Yeah, 'cause you're not that intelligent." Sophie replies and Daniel mutters something.

        "How would we get them together though?" Hunter questions.

       "We ca-" Sophie is then interrupted by Jaiden.

       "What if we can set up a meeting at a restaurant or someplace and then nobody besides them shows up?"

       "Or we could do that." Sophie huffs. "We can also send two people to make sure everything goes according to plan."

     "But who would go?" I ask.

       "How about Daniel and m-." Sophie gets interrupted once again.

      "Lexie, Daniel and Lexie can go." Hunter states. "They can also get to know each other as well as keeping watch. Since lexie's new to the group and all." Sophie mumbles to herself, probably annoyed no one is letting her finish her sentences.

        "Me?" I question.

     "Yeah, we can have walkie talkies and it'll be like a spy mission." Daniel declares.

       "No it won't be and you'll just be texting us in a separate group chat that I will make." Sophie huffs.

      "That's not as fun though," Daniel mutters.

          "Where would they meet." Jaiden questions. "It can't be somewhere the entire group wouldn't go" I've only been to three places with the group. I'm guessing Hunter is thinking of a place I haven't gone with them before.

         "How about that new pizza place Daniel wanted to go to like a week ago," Hunter suggests.

        "Oh yeah, Just Pizza!" Daniel exclaims. Just pizza? I've never been there. Hunter did say it's new.

      "We are gonna need disguises." Daniel smiles.

       "What would we wear though?" I ask

        "You just need to wear something you wouldn't wear and sunglasses or something like that," Sophie says angrily at Daniel for some unknown reason.

   

       "What clothes would you never wear?" Sophie asks me as we stand in front of the same shop I met Jaiden at.

         "I don't usually wear dresses and skirts," I admit. "I'm more of a sweatshirt and jeans person." We walk into the clothing store Daniel and Jaiden following behind.

       "I'm going to wait outside." Hunter leans against the store walls. We then walk into the store.

       "You should also wear something that blends in nothing flashy." Sophie continues. "Something childish I'm thinking." She then grabs a pink fluffy skirt. "Do you think this is good"

     "Yeah..." I hesitate not wanting to wear the outfit Sophie is planning. Sophie then walks over to the shoes and I follow behind her. I notice Jaiden is helping Daniel get his Disguise. Sophie then grabs some sparkly shoes that light up when you walk.

        "This is the biggest size I could find of these." She hands me the shoes. I doubt they'll fit me. I manage to fit my feet into the shoes though it's tight.

       "These are really tight," I say trying to take them off.

       "Well finding a Disguise to force two of your friends to show their feelings for each other is pain," Sophie says looking at shirts. I bet I'm going to look ridiculous in this outfit. Sophie then grabs a white shirt with unicorns on it. I honestly would never wear it but I'll do it to please Sophie and the rest of the group. Sophie then picks up some white socks with a bow on them and some heart sunglasses.

       "Try this all on," Sophie says handing me the clothes.

       I walk into a changing room and put on the childish outfit. I walk out of the room with the tight sneakers white patterned shirt, heart glasses, and floofy skirt.

      "That looks so cute on you." Sophie smiles.

       "Really?" I question looking in the mirror.

     "It's just missing one thing," Sophie replies. She grabs a hair tie and puts my hair up in a ponytail on the side of my head.

    "This looks so stu-." Sophie then interrupts me.

           "-pendouse" Sophie smiles.

      "I think you look cute." Jaiden walks up beside me. "You'd look cute in anything honestly."

      "How do I look." Daniel walks beside Sophie wearing his disguise. He's wearing a red baseball cap and some black sunglasses that make it impossible to see his eyes. As well as a paw patrol shirt and shorts.

        "Ugh, I hate this shirt though."Daniel whines.

       "Well you're gonna have to deal with it."

     We walk out of the store wearing the newly bought clothes.

       "You both look stupid." Hunter laughs. "But a good kind of stupid, That's what we are going for." I look at the bags hunter is holding.

       "You took a while so I went and got some spray hair dye."

       "That's a great idea!" Sophie exclaims. After what seemed like an hour of Sophie and daniel arguing about what hair dye I get we finally are ready to go about our plan.

       "I wanted the purple hair dye." Daniel sobs with his black hair barely showing the blue temporary dye that was sprayed onto it.
