Chapter 5.5: Oh No!

*(Y/N)’s POV*

As soon as I turned the corner of my classroom door I started sprinting down the hall. I had to be quick to make it back in time. I practically skipped the stairs, by repeatedly jumping over them. Some students looked at me but that didn’t matter right now.

The entrance door was now in sight. However, it was blocked by two students who were also trying to get out. Must be the freshmen. One was a guy with blond hair, blue eyes, and white framed glasses. And the other was a girl with long dark purple hair and round glasses. Well, they were not sprinting like me.

(Y/N): “Excuse me! Coming through.”, I pushed myself in between them.

???: “Watch where you're going!”

???: “Don’t you dare touch Master! I will kill you!”, the end was a bit inaudible since I was already out of the building.

Outside, there were once again two students walking next to each other. There was quite a bit of a height difference between them. The shorter girl had brown hair in a curled ponytail and tanned skin. The taller girl was massively built with long white hair and reddened-dark skin.

The aforementioned girl heard my loud steps. She turned around and when I almost went past them she started to run until she caught up to me.

???: “Aoi! Where are you going?!”, she sounded worried.

Aoi: “I’ll be right back, Sakura!”

(Y/N): “Why are you running with me?”

Aoi: “Hey you challenged me! Did you think I would say no to that offer?”

(Y/N): “I wasn’t challenging you. I just have to go back home and get something. This is weird.”

Aoi: “Aww… May I join you? I haven’t seen someone as fast as you in some time.”

(Y/N): “Umm…”, my stamina slowly gave up, “s-sure…But wh-”

Aoi: “Alright! See you at the finish line!”, she ran past me with incredible speed.

There’s no doubt that her ultimate talent might be something sports related.

After two seconds had passed she came back to me.

Aoi: “Uhh… Where do you live?”, that made me chuckle a bit.

(Y/N): “That was adorable.”, I said with a big grin.

Aoi: “H-Hey don’t mock me! Now tell me where you live!”

(Y/N): “Actually, we are already here.”

Aoi looked at the house. It didn’t take her long to figure out that I lived inside of a dorm.

(Y/N): “We haven’t properly introduced each other yet. My name is (Y/N), the Ultimate Multi-Instrumentalist.”

Aoi: “Aoi Asahina, Ultimate Swimming Pro.”, she said with her eyes closed and a brighter than the sun smile.

(Y/N): “Nice to meet you.”

We shook our hands.

(Y/N): “Wanna come in? I can show you my instruments if you want to.”

Aoi looked at me with a slight blush across her face. I realized what made her so upset.

(Y/N): “Oh no. That came out wrong. I’m sorry. If I would have asked you out, it wouldn't be like this.”

Aoi: “N-No it’s fine. I can come in.”

(Y/N): “Okay. But we have to be quick. The break ends in 15 minutes and I don’t wanna be late nor get caught.”

Aoi: “Alright.”
