Chapter 16.5: Preparations

*Meanwhile in another place*

???: "Come on! Help me get this board up, Kyoko!"

Kyoko: "Alex. I'm talking to Makoto. Why don't you ask him?"

Alex: "Seriously? He's probably as heavy as the board I'm holding right now."

Makoto: "That's not true-"

Kyoko picked him up with ease, making him blush madly.

Alex: "See? Now come help me. This bunker isn't gonna build itself."

Leon: "Yo, Sayaka. Wanna hang?"

Sayaka: "Are you trying to murder me?"

Leon: "What? No! I would never.", he hastily shook his hands. "I would never stab you in the back."

Sayaka: "Okay. Me neither, if you want to know."

Leon: "No, it's fine. I trust you."

…

Chihiro: "Guys. Look at what I did."

Taka and Mondo looked over her shoulder and saw a computer program that looked like Chihiro's head.

Mondo: "Wow. You edited your face into that thing. Big deal."

But then the other Chihiro started talking.

Alter Ego: "I'm not Chihiro. I'm Alter Ego, as my master likes to call me."

Both boys slammed their hands on the table and held their heads close to the laptop. This made Chihiro giggle.

Taka: "What is this-this sorcery?"

Chihiro: "Quite interesting, right?"

…

Celeste: "Hifumi! The tea!"

Hifumi: "On its way, my majesty!", he quickly waddled away and into the kitchen.

Celeste: "I wonder where (Y/N) is right now. I'm sure he'd make excellent tea."

Hifumi came and tried his best not to drop anything. But it was no use. He dropped the silver tray and the tea spilled everywhere, along with shards from the cups.

Celeste: "You useless bitch! Pick that up! And excuse yourself for your clumsiness and I might forgive you!"

Hifumi: "I-I okay."

Yasuhiro stumbled upon the scene.

Yasuhiro: "Oh no. Broken glass shards. That's a bad omen, dude!"

Celeste: "Be quiet before I use that shard on your face!"

Yasuhiro: "Woah! Not my pretty face!"

…

Aoi: "Woah. This is like paradise! It's so sad that we need to lock it up…"

Sakura: "Yeah. I have fond memories of this swimming pool."

Aoi: "You bet." "Hey, Sakura?"

Sakura: "Yes, Hina?"

Aoi: "I don't think I'll be able to survive down here. To think that I have to stay with Byakuya… or Toko…"

Sakura: "Everything will be just fine. Don't worry, Hina. I will protect you.", she ruffled her hair a bit, making her chuckle.

Byakuya: "Toko. Tell me. Do you know what a toothbrush or perhaps a shower is?"

Toko: "I'm sorry, master. Don't have time."

Byakuya: "Then get out of my smell zone, you filthy cockroach."

Toko: "Huh?"

She made her way out of the washing room, but remained near the door.

Junko: "Everything is according to plan. Mukuro! We are gonna drop the world into despair! Isn't it exciting?", she grabbed her shoulders and shook her around.

Mukuro: "Oh yes! Finally!"

Junko let her go, looked at her hands and smeared them on another person in the room.

Junko: "Ew."

Mukuro: "What is it?"

Junko: "Nothing.", she just eyed her down in disgust.

Mukuro: "When are you gonna do it?"

Junko: "Soon, Mukuro. Our poor Mr. Kirigiri has to wait."

The person, who was blindfolded and gagged, tried to scream.

Junko: "Shut up!", she slapped him.

Mukuro took something out of her backpack and put it down in front of the prisoner. That "something" was a robotic bear that had one part white and one part black "fur". On the white side, was a black dot, it's eye, and on the black side, a red, horizontal, jagged symbol that resembled a portion of the Hope's Peak Logo.

Junko: "Oh Monokuma!", she picked him up and hugged him tightly. "We will show these people what despair means."

*Outside*

(Y/N) looked at his bracelet that Alex, Junko and Mukuro made and gave to him. It was referencing the Monokuma bear.

Ibuki: "(Y/N)? Hey, (Y/N)?!", she slapped him out of his daydream.

(Y/N): "Wha- What is it?"

Hiyoko: "Our jetpacks have to recharge. Don't you remember? Ibuki crashed down and got tangled into a pile of roses!"

Ibuki: "Yep. That happened.", she pulled out one thorn out of many. "Ouch."

(Y/N): "Wait, I knew that. But something told me to ask again."

Hiyoko: "Well, now you know."
