Chapter 11

"I AM HERE!"

All Might!

Silent cheers for the hero that arrived, Y/n only snarled. It hurt... it seared, it ached.

Her ears perked up at a sudden noise, the gentle flaps of wings. Her head raised, looking away from the fight. There was nothing.

She looked back to the fight and her ears pinned back. Everything was happening so fast!

She pulled Todoroki back with claws carefully, pulling the bi-colored boy to her scaled chest as her tail unraveled from his leg. They both stayed still, watching the fight.

A portal opened beneath the Nomu and All Might, everyone knew who the culprit was.

The dragon snarled but only watched, smoke puffing from her nose. Her wings puffed out like a angry cockatoo, scales shifting to make her look more threatening. There was more than one threat.

The sound of wings became more and more apparent, growing closer and closer.

The she-dragon's head ducked down to the human next to her, her scales being to glow again, the violet luminescence moving up and down on her body. Todoroki looked to her, raising a hand to pet her snout carefully.

The dragon let out a growl, her talons coming up to wrap around the bi-colored teen as if protecting a precious jewel. The boy looked at her with fainted surprise, the blood from her horn dripping down onto his clothes.

Her scales shifted again as the flap of wings grew louder before the sudden sound of glass shattering echoed throughout the building. Her head snapped towards the the cloud of dust, ears folding back against her head.

All Might stepped forward, grin still bright as ever. "Well villain, how about we hurry up and finish this?"

Y/n's quills flicked as the grey-haired male seemed to become agitated, "...You... You cheated! You've weakened? Not that I can see... We're completely out matched. How dare you do that to my nomu... you cheated..!"

The dragon's teeth gnarled, lips pulling back to show off that set of what could be compared to as quartzite razors.

"He's not weak at all! They... They lied to me!"

All Might suddenly spoke and Y/n let the claws that we're holding Todoroki drop to the ground. "Well? Coming to get me? What happened to clearing the game..?

IF YOU CAN TAKE ME, THEN BRING IT ON!"

"We're not ready for this level yet..." Todoroki muttered quietly. Y/n glanced down at him in response before growling.

"Well?! What's keeping you?" All Might spoke again and it seemed to struck a cord.

And like that.

The villains lunged forward.

As did the dragon.

Clawed feet skidded to the landing, her hind end dragging behind and skidding to a close stop. Her tail immediately wrapped around the adult's leg, curling as the dust flow she caused rose up. It seemed she wasn't the only one to jump forward however.

"Midoriya!" She yelped out, her maw snapping forward just in time as a bullet hit the grey-haired villain's hand. She grabbed the teen by the torso, her teeth snagging against his uniform and nearly threatening to puncture him.

"Sorry everyone, we're late."

Y/n ignored the sound of heroes arriving, opting to do something better. She pulled All Might to her side before falling to the opposite direction, the last wave of adrenaline leaving her body. She used her wings to cover both the teacher and her classmate from the prying eyes of the world.

The dragoness carefully placed the teen down next to her stomach, next to the now scrawny version of the number one hero. Heavy breaths heaved through her, the blood loss so close to her skull and the exhaustion finally setting in.

All Might immediately began to fuss over both of them. "Goodness! Are you two all right?!"

Midoriya seemed to be in worst shape than her, but he smiled. "I..I'm fine, All Might sir."

All Might nodded before turning his attention to the dragon who's body heaved, her mouth dry and ears beginning to ring. "Othim-san?"

"Tired... dizzy." Finally she lost her strength, head falling to meet the ground. Her body ached, head head hurt more than imaginable but she refused to let her consciousness slip from her grasp.

"Othim!" Midoriya squeaked, stumbling over towards her head.

Y/n made no move to stop him, only jumping when the sudden wall on concrete jumped up from the ground. She did her best to lift her head, the uneven weight making it hard when she was so tired.

"Cementoss!" All Might jumped.

Cementoss smiled, "I'm a fan of your's y'know... so let's get you to the nurses office without revealing this side of you. But honestly you have to stop over doing it..."

"I'd be dead if I hadn't over done it... they were villains."

Cementoss nodded with a sigh, looking to the dragoness who was currently attempting to stand, doing rather well. "Othim, if you're in good enough condition, can you take Midoriya and yourself to the heroes?"

The dragon nodded, picking up the teen by the back of his shirt. She began to walk around the wall only to his in pain, searing fire aching in her hind leg. She must've done something to it when she skidded...

She ignored it, opting to limp, the use of three limbs being enough for her.

As she approached the heroes, her classmates surrounded her. She noticed Todoroki stay a bit aways from the crowd but still attempting to stay next to her. They took Midoriya away from her, a few other's such as Koda, Shoji, Tokoyami, Sato, and of course Todoroki staying next to her.

The uneven weight on Y/n's head reminded her of her situation and she growled. Moving away from the group, catching the attention of the pros left around and of her classmates. She hated the idea of doing what she was about to do, but she'd would rather not deal with lopsided horns for the rest of her life.

Y/n's claws dug at the ground, finding hard purchase. She took a deep breath, bringing up with little strength she had left.

Rising to her hind legs, she brought her head down to the ground, hissing in pain when her horn cracked but didn't break.

"Othim-san!? What are you doin?!"

The dragoness ignored the distressed cries from her classmates and pros, rising to her hind legs once again before slamming her head down once again.

Finally the horn snapped off and the dragon sneered in pain, the newly broken horn gushing blood. She wasn't worried, her horns would grow back stronger but damn it hurt.

Her body shook like a dog shaking off water. Blood splattering the ground. A successful attempt to keep the blood from getting into her eyes.

She limped her way back to her worried classmates, head lowering at the sight of a very familiar detective and officer before her eyes snapped to the principal.

"Nezu."

The principal perked, looking to the dragoness with slight surprise. "Y/n dear! Look at you!"

She shied back, lowering herself down. "I have something to add to the report."

"Oh?" Nezu smiled, "Care to tell me?" The principal approached her, Y/n's head lowering to face him.

"I heard wings, flapping high above us. They disappeared after the nomu was shot out of the glass."

Nezu smiled and nodded, "Thank you for the information, now, let's get you patched up."

"Yes sir."

(Forgot to mention, no beta we die like gods, that means you have to deal with dragon anatomy. Also means you're going to become a broody dragon eventually so yeah.)
