Trustworthy (Todoroki Shoto x Dragon Reader)

Chapter 9

E/c eyes wandered off the empty forest as a pale hand ran through fluffy black hair. The man seemed to be searching for something as he walked towards the city, he legs carrying him easily.

The man held no odd features, he seemed normal besides his eyes. An unnatural shade of e/c with slitted pupils...

As he finally made it to the city he dropped his hands into his pockets, wandering lazily down the streets.

He let put a loud yawn even though it was middle of the day, the bags under his eyes indicating he hadn't slept in a while. While he was tired he still seemed alert as his eyes darted around on constant alert.

A harsh shiver ran down his spine. He hated the city, to many people, to many measly humans...

His lips pulled back into a slight snarl but he stayed quiet and he kept walking.

His feet taking him no where in particular he found himself in front of a school. His nostrils flared as he caught sent of many different creatures, sadly he couldn't tell them a part as they were to covered by human scent to make out.

His eyes wandered to the school's perimeter and as his eyes landed on the gate he heard it...

"GRRRRAAAAUUUU!!!"

And his instincts flared.

"Now for today's basic hero training... this time, All Might, myself and one other will supervise." Aizawa's tired voice corded through the room, reaching Y/n's perked ears.

For some reason she had a bad feeling today and because of that the tip of her tail had been wrapped around Todoroki's ankle at every chance it had.

"This time...? So it's a special class?" Izuku mumbled.

Sero's hand shot up, "Um, what're we doing exactly?!"

"It's rescue training!!" Aizawa spoke up from under his scarf, "Preparing you for disaster relief, from fires to floods."

"Rescue, huh... sounds like another rough day." Kaminari noted.

Mina agreed, "Right!"

"Come on, this is what being a hero's all about! I'm pumped!!" Kirishima grinned.

Asui smiled, "I'll be right at home in a flood. Ribbit."

Todoroki hummed as he turned to Y/n, "You may get to stretch your wings today."

"That'd be a pleasure." She smiled at him, noticing how her tail had slipped around his ankle firmly, "I'm sorry, does that-"

"Hey. I'm not done." Aizawa sighed, "It's up to each of you whether or not you wear your costumes. As some of them are ill-suited to this sort of activity."

He pressed a button on the small controller causing it to beep. The wall opened up to expose the cases containing each student's hero costumes.

"The training site is a bit remote, so we'll be going by bus. That's all. Get ready." Aizawa grumbled slightly. The students were quick to get ready, each filing out.

Y/n stuck to Todoroki's side as the walked out of the school, her tail once again attached to his ankle and she felt like it was bothering him.

"Todo-kun," Y/n caught the bi-colored teens attention, "my tail around your leg, does it bother you at all?"

Todoroki lifted his hand to her, "Not at all, no need to worry."

Y/n's lips curved into a gentle smile and she excitedly gripped Todoroki's hand, "Thank you, you deal with all my bad habits, I can't imagine how infuriating they can be to you."
