Abducted!

part 2:The beiginning of a nightmare

       The Chicago intelligence unit arrived and began taking everyone's statement.

       "Kelly is there anyone that has a problem or a grudge against you or anyone here?" Kelly just stared into the distance in his own world, wondering if he would ever see his child again. "Kelly" Antonio Dawson said trying to grab his attention. He quickly looked up and said' "no... no there's not. and even if there was, i don't see why they would want to punish a 6 year old" he said angrily. "So we have nothing..." Hank said trailing off. "yeah we have the note, that's something right" Casey said hopeful. "The note isn't enough to find a suspect..." Hank says. "So she's just gone, without a trace..?" Kelly questioned sadly. "We will find her Kelly, I promise you that." Erin said very determined.

They went to find the very irresponsible Holly. "What the hell, you're supposed to watch her not let her get taken" Kelly said infuriated. "I can't help what happens to her when i'm not watching" Holly said in a sarcastic tone. "Well maybe you're actually supposed to watch her" Kelly replied. "okay that's enough" Hank said. "Holly when was the last time you saw Harper?" he questioned. "ummm she said she was going outside to wait on her dad to get back, and i didn't see her since then." "Okay guys let's go take a look around outside to see if the kidnapper left any type of trail behind." Antonio said anxiously.

Everyone was outside looking for anything that may help. "come here guys, i think i found something" Stella Kidd said while pointing down at the cement. "Is that blood?" Joe Cruz asked frightened. "Yep that's definitely blood" Ruzek said. "what's this..?" Otis said wondering off to the bushes. "it's a tape..." Gabby said. "To Kelly Severide From your anonymous friend". Joe Cruz read aloud. ''Do you guys have cameras that work out here?'' Erin asked. ''Yes we do'' Chief Boden says and they all hurry inside carrying the small tape.

''Here's the footage from the exact time stamp'', Mouse says. ''You guys ready to see this?'' He asks, looking at Kelly. Kelly takes a quick glance at his phone, which has a picture of Harper smiling and laughing, ''Yeah, go ahead'' Kelly says. They watch the screen and see Harper playing with a toy firetruck that her grandfather, Benny Severide, got her for her birthday, a few months ago. They then see this black van pull up, and then two guys hop out with masks on and drug little Harper to the van. They watch in horror as Harper tries to fight them back by kicking and screaming but sadly she is unsuccessful, instead the bigger guy, about 6'2, knocks Harper out and then puts her in the van. Everyone turns and looks at Kelly who is standing in complete silence, angry silence, he then turns and punches the wall, leaving his knuckles bloody, and storms off.

       Casey goes and chases after Kelly, he then finds him sitting outside looking at his knuckles. "Kelly!" Casey says in a worried tone. He then walks up to him. "come on man, you have to get your head together, we're going to find her" he says. Kelly just keeps staring blankly at his knuckles. "I have to get her back man, she's my whole world" he says in a trembling voice. Casey then pats his friend on the shoulder and brings him into a hug, Kelly then starts to sob on his friends shoulder. "Hey guys come in, we have to watch the tape, it could help us" Atwater says without realizing that he's interrupting the two. "we're coming" Kelly says back. They then walk inside.

       When they are inside, Mouse plays the tape. "Hey there Kelly, i see that you've found my little video, i'm sure you're probably worried about your little Harp" the man says in a evil tone. "well here she is...". The video then shows Harper in the corner, of what looks like a basement, scared, crying, and tied up to a pole. Then another man... no a kid, that looks about 14 shows up, he looks innocent, almost like he didn't wanna be there. "Hey bro, i told you we were gonna make it" the man says to the teen. He then hits Harper with a whip, she whelps in pain. "This is only the beginning Severide, this is the only footage you'll get of your daughter unless she's found." he says while laughing. "Please dad i need you, get me out of here please" Harper says while crying. Mouse then turned off the video, everyone then looked around in terror as their nightmare started.
