Abducted!

part 5: 3 weeks

       Today was the annual barbecue for firefighters and police officers. Everyone from firehouse 51 and intelligence was going to attend. Kelly usually brings Harper and let's her play with the other kids. Harper and Herrmann's kids usually play together being that her and Annabelle are the same age. Today they would be a kid down.

      Kelly didn't actually want to go to the barbecue but he promised Stella and the rest of the guys that he would. Besides he needed to get out of the house anyway. He didn't understand why there was a point of him going if he was gonna be reminded by everything he does of his precious missing daughter. Sometimes the pain got so bad that he had to get totally wasted so he couldn't feel anything anymore. That was his life now... well until his Harper was found.

       "Kelly, come here you, need to eat something" Stella says. "I'm coming" he said walking over. He gets a hamburger and a beer. "Hey guys, I brought some freshly baked chocolate chip cookies" Katie said. Katie was Kelly's little sister. "we're good" kelly says. "but i thought y'all liked them?" Katie asks confused. "you know who loves them? Harper, she would enjoy them, but she's not and probably will never be here again so get out of here with those" Kelly says infuriated. No one knew what to do so they just looked down. "Fine, i'm sorry for asking" Katie says disappointed in herself.

       Kelly goes and gets another beer, that's his 6th one. I guess you could say he was wasted. "Casey, guys look it's her" kelly says as he looks in the distance at some little kids. "It's who?" Otis says confused. "It's her can't you see it?" They finally understood what he was talking about. "Kelly" Gabby says and tries to get his attention. "no guys seriously it's her" Kelly says and sounds disappointed. "Kelly she's not here" Jay says trying not to hurt his friend too bad. "Shay" Kelly says. Everyone looks very confused. "Shay, she would have known what to do, i already lost her, now i lost my tiny best friend, my whole heart." "Come on man try and have some fun." Ruzek says trying to cheer him up. "I can't, fun isn't for me, at least not anymore." Kelly says and leaves. Everyone else leaves soon after him.
