They actually did it. 

Scott, Stiles, and Savannah all made it to junior year. 

For a minute, they didn't think they were all going to make it. What with Jackson becoming the Kanima and going on a murder spree, Derek turning everyone from chemistry into a werewolf, Matt turning out to be the one controlling Jackson, Gerard killing Matt to use Jackson against us, Jackson dying and coming back as a werewolf.. 

It was a tough year and they're all surprised they made it this far. Now there were more important things to look forward too. Junior year, maybe they would actually be excited for school dances, going for a walk at night, being able to go on a date without worrying who would die if they did. They could get back to being normal teens. 

But anybody who lives in Beacon Hills, knows that is far from possible...because at night is when the monster inside everyone comes out. There's no stopping what's already begun... They think that everything is over . . .

but they're wrong...

Just because they've won the battle..

does not mean they've won the war.
