Getting Under the Skin.

I was walking through the halls after class, deciding on skipping Chemistry, not really feeling like being in the same class as Stiles, Isaac, and Scott right now. Not after the spat we had earlier. I continued walking and finally spotted Scott and Isaac.

"Hey McCall! Lahey!" I yelled after them before running up and asking them why they looked completely mad, well Isaac more so. "Hey what's wrong?" I asked them while Scott just sighed.

"Isaac got detention." Scott started explaining until Isaac interrupted him.

"They got me detention." He silently growled to himself.

So apparently Isaac had turned a simple "bathroom" break into a fight. I guess the twins had set it up to make it look like Isaac had attacked Ethan, resulting in him getting detention. Isaac practically had steam coming from his ears.

"Isaac, you're letting them get to you." I pointed out to him as we stopped by his locker. He was shoving his books into his locker angerily. It wasn't the books fault. "They're just screwing with you so you'll give them a reaction. You giving them a reaction is what's causing them to win."

"Yeah, well I'm not the only one." Isaac mumbled while the three of us turned our heads to see Aiden flirting with Lydia. Ugh, oh no. From what we heard, Aiden was trying to get Lydia to go out with him. He offered to help her study but she pointed out that she has a way higher IQ than him which turned into him asking her to help him study. Just listening to this and seeing them made me want to vomit. Aiden was only doing this to get to us. I wouldn't believe for one second that he actually gave a crap about Lydia. The Alphas, all of them, were up to something and I didn't want to see Lydia get tangled up in it. I was not going to be a casualty in their ongoing war, I didn't want anyone to be.

"I-I need to go and grab a few things from my locker." I mumbled to myself before turning back to face Isaac and Scott. "I'll see you guys later."

"You know class is that way Knight?" Isaac pointed out that I was going the wrong way.

"Taking a sick day." I smirked at him and Scott before glaring at Aiden as Lydia had finally walked away from him. And with that, I turned around and started making my way to my locker, not really wanting to see the scene in front of me. Aiden and his brother were up to something, they were all up to something. There was no way that Aiden targeting Lydia was a coincidence. And there sure as hell was no way that I was going to sit in a class with him.
