January 24
Dear Diary,
I remember every single detail that happened today.
First, I found a folded up note pinched in the slots of my locker that said "At 7 o'clock, meet me at the back of the school -Damien."
Silly me, at seven o'clock, I met up with this mysterious boy at the back of the school. I had to lie to my mother about where I was going. I told her that I would be hanging out with Tori, whom I've been best friends with since 6th grade.
So anyways, there he was, leaning against his motorcycle, in his black leather jacket. At first, I was confused. Why did he want to meet me outside of school? But then I noticed that there was an extra helmet sitting on top of the shiny burgundy paint of the motorcycle. He was going to take me somewhere.
It turned out exactly how I expected it to be. His voice was so adorable and deep as he spoke.
"Hey there," he said.
"Hi," was all I managed to say.
Awkward silence.
"Um... should we hug or?" His voice trailed off.
"Um sure."
He pulled me in and I wrapped my arms around his waist. There was a lot of awkwardness at the beginning of the hug but then it felt like the tension we both had trapped in our bodies, melted away. His biceps relaxed and they were no longer pinning my ears to the sides of my head. The hug lasted for about a good 20 seconds?
"Put this on," he said, as he handed me the extra helmet.
"Nuh uh, I'm not getting on that thing." I protested.
"Come on, please. It'll be fun."
"Fine." I surrendered
The stupid person that I am, I put it on but I didn't know how to properly fasten it. He noticed that I was struggling and chuckled as he shook his head and fastened the clasps himself. His laugh tickled the back of my neck and bursted in thousands of butterflies in the pit of my stomach.
Awkwardly, I sat behind him on the bike. I didn't know where to grab on.
"Come on, Ella. We just hugged for about 10 minutes. It's no difference." he complained. I rolled my eyes at him and let my arms find their way across his fit torso.
The vehicle roared through the quiet neighborhood that borders my school. I think he sensed that I was scared when I held on tighter and buried my face in his back because he slowed down just a little and rubbed my hand with his much larger one.
We stopped at the movie theaters and parked his bike. I let my grip on his waist loosen and attempted to take off my helmet. He smiled and did it himself, again. For a second, I thought that he was going to kiss me. That moment quickly escalated when a car honked its horn at us. Damien turned his head away and sighed heavily. I realized who was driving the car, it was Jarvis, my childhood friend. I was so frustrated and all Jarvis did was laugh. I've known him all my life but we lost most of our friendship during freshman year when he got a girlfriend. We promised each other a long time ago that we wouldn't get into a relationship, no matter what. Jarvis was at the movie theaters with his new girlfriend. She had really pretty blue eyes and she was so nice.
Anyways, Damien paid for my ticket and grabbed my hand. We walked into the dark room and sat all the way in the back. About 30 minutes into the movie, Damien was getting really touchy. He kept sliding his hands up my thigh but I continued to push it back down.
"Stop it, we're gonna get caught."
Damien shushed me but I didn't obey. I didn't like it, I'm not ready to have a relationship, like this.
"I'm serious, you need to sto-" He kissed me hard to the point where it hurt. He kept touching me. I tried to fight it but he sat up and leaned over me. His body pinned mine to the seat. I tried to move away.
"Shh. Relax, Baby." he whispered.
I can't believe I listened to him but I couldn't help it. His voice and his body compelled me to do whatever he asked.
After a few minutes, all the kissing and touching stopped. This is the first and last time that this will happen.
Yours truly,
Ella
