Ivory pov

Aunt Irina took my hand and squeezed it comfortingly.
"Yeah... I'm mated to six members of the Volturi. I didn't ask for it to happen please believe me!" I cried.
"Mija, calm down, we understand." Mom hugged me.
"Its ok hun, we're always here for you." Aunt Tanya told me.
"Ok, let's hear about your trip kiddo." Dad took my suitcase and sat down next to me.

"Mija! Time for your spanish lesson!"
"Pero mamá, ¿es necesario? (But mom, is it necessary?)" I inquired.
"Sí." Mom replied sternly.
"Muy bien, ya voy. (Alright, I'm coming.)" I called back.
"Now I want you to repeat this phrase in english: 'La vida es un enigma de esoterica.' Repeat." Mom demanded.
"Life is a conundrum of esoterica." I answered.
"'If everyone fought fire with fire the world would go up in smoke.' In spanish."
"Si todos luchaban contra el fuego con fuego el mundo subiría de humo." I spoke fluently.
"Better than last time. 'Una biblioteca es como una isla en medio de un vasto mar de ingnoncia. Especialmente si la biblioteca es muy alta y el área circundante se ha inundado.' Go."
"A library is like an island in the middle of a vast sea of ingnorance. Particularly if the library is very tall and the surrounding area has been flooded." I responded. Mom nodded and we kept going.

Months passed, 7 months exactly, and nothing seemed to be going wrong. I looked 18 now and I was taking several online college courses. I was currently typing up a thesis for my creative writing class and snacking on some Doritos.
"Ives! We're heading out, do you want anything!" Uncle Garrett called.
"A will to live would be nice!" I called back.
"More caffeine?" Aunt Kate laughed.
"Yes please, I need to get my work done!" I exclaimed.
"Alright, see ya kid!" Aunt Irina shouted. I heard the door close and sighed rubbing my temples, being only half vampire meant I did need sleep. Did I sleep? No. How long had I been awake? 3 days. Should I go to sleep? Probably. Was I going to? Not until I finished my work. I groaned, letting my head fall against the wooden desk. The doorbell rang and I debated answering it, but after the persistent ringing I sighed and removed my butt from my comfy chair.
"Can I help...you!"

A/n who is it? Can you guess?
