Chapter 19

Prom was amazing and Lisa looked so beautiful. I was happy Nayeon wasn't going to tell the whole school but now Finals were coming up. It was very early and since Lisa and I spent the whole weekend in my house, I decided to bring her to work with me. I'd be Cupid if this girl was anymore in love with me. I couldn't turn the page in my textbook because Lisa was on my lap, kissing my hand and she wouldn't let it go. The door opened and she jumped up. She saw Nayeon walk in and she sat back down.

She placed a small kiss on my lips and hugged me like a teddy bear. Nayeon giggled "She's so fucking cute" Lisa looked up into my eyes and Nayeon did a dramatic gasp "Miss Kim, language!" I rolled my eyes then Nayeon took out her tablet.

"In all seriousness, we may have a problem...or it could be a good thing" Lisa looked at the tablet and it was our picture posted on the students' page. It's like an Instagram thing, only guidance counselors can access it but none of the faculty. "After I posted it, Miyeon said that you two would be a cute couple, a lot of other people agreed...like the whole senior class"

She went to the comments and scrolled up to one. "All the seniors are plotting" I read the comment. It said 'Ok seniors, listen up. We have a few weeks until graduation. Clearly everyone ships these two. It is our job to make sure that they kiss before we graduate or at least on graduation day' I sighed.

Is this what kids do in their free time? I read the comment under it and I was a little offended 'This is going to be hard since Kim is always in a shitty mood. All they do is read books' Nayeon turned off the tablet.

"It only gets worse from there, you're pretty but you're mean. All you have to do is flirt" she left and Lisa kissed me. I wasn't ready for it and she giggled.

"I should go" she stood up and I smacked her butt. The look she gave me made me snort from laughing. She left and I just closed my book. The bell rang and kids started flooding into class, picking up their assignment on their way in. I'm glad Taeyoung was switched.

"Alright class, today is a simple graphic organizer to prepare for the final. Any questions?" literally everyone raised their hand. In unison they said "How do you know Lisa Manoban?" I honestly felt like I was in a scary movie or some parallel universe.

"I'm friends with her Aunt...why?" Miyeon raised her hand and I pointed to her "There's a picture going around of you and Lisa smiling, I don't know how but you actually look happy. I thought your face was made of stone Miss Kim" the kids giggled.

"You know Miyeon, you're right. But if my calculations are right.." I looked at my watch to be extra dramatic "You have two weeks to convince me to kiss her, correct." Everyone looked shocked and it felt so good "I seriously don't think you're going about this the right way...get to work" I went back to my book feeling great.

By next period I'm guessing everyone knew that I knew because they were all staring at me. I looked up and then Kyle said "Miss Kim how did you find out? now that you know, it's going to be impossible, especially because you're dating the other police officer" they all agreed and Lisa wasn't even paying attention, she was doing her work with headphones in. Jungkook spoke up "I'm close with Miss Kim even out of school, I know that the other police officer is married. She only flirts so Taeyoung stops threatening her job to be with him" they all looked at me and I nodded.

"We are her favorite class. Just ask her, she's human" they all nodded and Tessa looked at me and said "Do you like girls, or are you straight?" I could tell this was going to be the topic of the class.

"I lean to girls more" they looked shocked. Also relieved about my answer "You guys don't notice much, I'm not the one you should use peer pressure on, it won't work. But has Lisa told anyone her sexual preferences or who she likes...just ask her, she'll give you a detailed answer by accident" They all turned to her.

Tessa tapped her and she took out her headphones "Lisa who do you like or can you give us a few details?" Lisa looked a little nervous. She's so cute "She's older than us, she has dark brown hair, blue eyes, full lips, she likes to read, she's smart, so beautiful...I really like her but...it might not happen" she looked at me before returning to her work.

They all looked confused and Mino sighed "She explained Miss Kim you dimwits" they all looked surprised. I'm definitely going to kiss her at the end of the year. "If you guys manage to pull this off, I'll marry her" they looked even more shocked. I just went back to my book.

During lunch I was walking and it was a weird amount of people outside, as I was walking to my car I bumped into Lisa. She dropped her book and quickly went down to pick it up. She looked up at me and her face turned pink "I'm really sorry Miss Kim, I'll watch where I'm going" I shook my head and smiled.

"You're always in a book, it's fine, do you want anything?" She hesitantly nodded and so did I "I'll get you something, but be careful...I think we're being watched" everyone was looking at us. We both walked off in different directions and I went to my car.

I bought her a sandwich while I got a salad. Luckily, I made it back before lunch was over and I saw her waiting outside my door, it was weird having so many students watching us. I opened the door and we walked in together, she sat next to me at my desk. After a couple seconds Miyeon, Tessa, and Kyle walked in and sat around us.

"So...do you guys eat lunch together a lot?" Lisa nodded. Kyle, also in the photography club said "What was so funny...Miss Kim isn't one to smile" I didn't know I looked that mean.

"I think you two should kiss right now just to get this over with" Tessa suggested. They all nodded. Lisa looked shocked.

"Miss Kim what are you like outside of work...apparently teachers have lives" Lisa giggled. I rolled my eyes and she shook me.

"You know it was funny, I know you hate your students but they make funny jokes" I giggled as I wiped my mouth. "If I hated you I would tell you" she scoffed.

"If you told me that, Uncle Tom would go into cardiac arrest" I laughed. She threw a French fry at me and I caught it in my mouth "so not fair" I shrugged. I looked at the students and they looked shocked. I completely broke character in front of these kids.

"Lisa did you know that Jennie left a hickey on your neck?" Lisa's eyes widened and she felt her neck...shit they know. Both Miyeon and Kyle looked at Tessa "Sis you were right" Jungkook walked in with Mino and closed the door. Mino went to the windows and closed them. Mino walked over and said "You know our little secret"

All three of them looked surprised "You guys knew and didn't tell anybody" Mino nodded and walked to them "We do everything in our power to keep these two a secret so unless-" I cleared my throat and he looked at me.

I turned to them "I'm human, I fall in love just like everyone else and I have feelings, just like everyone else. I love Lisa so much and I really hope that you can keep it a secret." I grabbed Lisa's hand and intertwined our fingers "I'm nothing without her"

Miyeon wiped her eyes. Kyle nodded and said "What about the kiss, the jockeys are practically jerking off to this idea" I really didn't want to know that. Lisa grabbed my chin and pulled me into a soft kiss, it only lasted a couple seconds but it was enough to make me flustered "There's your kiss...we just have to wait for the other kids to see it" they all left with the biggest smiles on their face.
