Epilogue

I'm outside the delivery room and I swear this is the most hectic thing I've ever done, more hectic than getting married. I was pacing back and forth then I was pulled into a hug. It was Dara, I hugged her back but my hands were shaking. I heard the door open so I quickly let go and turned around, I've been here for 16 hours straight and I haven't slept a wink, a doctor walked out with a paper and clipboard "The Family of Lisa Kim" I stepped forward and said "I'm her wife" he nodded and directed me to a room

We walked in and I saw Lisa laying there with her eyes closed "She's asleep" I was about to have a stroke, heart attack, and seizure all at once, I'm so happy he said that.

"Mrs. Kim during birth, we had a baby boy" Damnit now I owe her twenty bucks but I'm still happy "But as we thought we were finishing she was still going through contractions, I advised her to push and we saw another head" wait, another head, like another baby, how did they not see that "So we have two babies" he nodded. If it's another boy then I'll owe her forty dollars "And the second one is a girl" I smiled.

"Once we get them cleaned, we'll give them to you guys... I mean girls" I nodded and he left. I sat next to her and caressed her head. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked at me "Never again" I giggled and nodded. We were only planning to have two "saves me the trouble of having one" she rolled her eyes and slowly sat up. I helped her and then I kissed her on the cheek, she giggled "Maybe you would've been in here if you stopped getting mad whenever someone had to touch me" I shrugged

The nurses walked in and handed us the babies and I felt a few tears roll down my face. I had the girl while she was breastfeeding the boy "I'm thinking for him, Daniel...and for her Talia" I actually loved those names. I nodded and the nurse left. I kissed Talia softly on her nose and she smiled, my heart melted. She smiled, because I kissed her. "Can I feed her now?" we switched off and I did the same to Daniel, he sneezed and I giggled. He's so cute.

||3 years later||

"So Shakespeare does still have an impact on today's world believe it or not, some of the things you still say today such as-" the door opened and Daniel ran in, the class giggled as he ran over to me. I picked him up and said "Daniel what does Shakespeare say?" he looked at the class and waved, they waved back "Fwight fire with fire" I giggled and nodded. They giggled as they wrote it down. I can't believe he's already three. He must've been running through the halls and someone just opened my door. She should be here in a couple seconds.

Lisa ran in and she took a deep breath when she saw him on my lap but I wasn't ok "Where's our daughter!?" She looked down then she ran back out. I rubbed my temples and the class giggled. She walked back in a couple seconds later with Talia on her hip "She's fine" Talia waved at everyone and they waved back then she waved at me and I waved back, for some reason they take it very personal if you don't wave at them, they would start crying. Lisa left and I gave Daniel a hug, I swear she'll accidentally lose one of them. I looked at my wrist to see her name 'Lisa' I looked under it to see two more names 'Talia' and 'Daniel' just in a smaller font.

As Daniel colored on one of my worksheets that said 'Don't write on' in big letters. I just examined his features; they both got my blue eyes which Lisa was happy about. And my hair, the man who was the donor looked a lot like Lisa and I think that Talia got his lips which closely resembled Lisa's. Daniel got my full lips; his hair is naturally curly though. They are both very attractive babies, that's why I'm so worried that they will get taken from me. "You make very beautiful children Mrs. Kim " I was so lost in my thoughts.

I can't believe I didn't notice that he slipped out of my lap. He was now sitting on Helens lap who was one of the prettiest girls in the school, Olivia is the prettiest and she sits next to Helen. I've noticed that Daniel is particularly open to being held by girls with big brown eyes and brown hair just like his mom. The door opened and Lisa peeped her head in "I have a really important meeting so can she stay in here for a while" I nodded and she put Talia down.

Talia doesn't usually like being held by anyone other than Lisa and I. "Come here Talia" it surprised me when Olivia opened up her arms and Talia walked right into them. "Do you hold her often?" Olivia looked up and nodded her head "Well usually when she runs around the halls she's looking for me. She never wants to leave my side most days. I don't mind though, she's really sweet, I think she looks up to me" she looked down at Talia to see Talia smiling at her widely, she only had two teeth so the class giggled. She chose a pretty girl with blonde hair and blue eyes...Lisa knew.

I picked up my phone and called Lisa, I made sure to be quiet so I wouldn't draw any attention to myself "Why didn't you tell me?" It was silent for a couple of seconds then she chuckled "Oh, you mean that Talia's gay, I thought you knew" she thinks this is funny. I hung up and just watched as she looked content in Olivia's lap.

Once we got home, I let them practice reading, while Lisa and I talked. "I just don't want her to be ashamed to tell us in the future" she grabbed my hand and kissed it "Coming out isn't easy, all we have to do is support her. Some people were born to be gay; I feel like she was one of those people" I laughed and both of the babies looked at us. I opened my arms and they both ran in them, I gave them kisses all over their faces and they returned them "Ok, Talia why do you like Olivia" Talia just smiled at the thought

"Olivia is pwetty" I giggled and she continued to hug me. I feel like everything is exactly how it's supposed to be. Lisa was just smiling and so were the kids. I had a perfect family and amazing friends. It's like what I always thought wasn't a thought anymore, it was a wish that came true. "Out of the 7 billion people in this world, I managed to find my soulmate" I looked at Lisa and she pecked me on the lips. As if all my hardships paid off, I can finally end my journey here.
