I was so tired. I've also been so stressed, It's Finals week and I've been nonstop grading, it's been like this for two weeks and everyone is still trying to get me to kiss Lisa. I feel like I'm going crazy. I haven't eaten, slept, or been able to concentrate.
"Jennie" I had no idea who was calling me. They took my cheek and I looked to see Lisa.
"Take a break" I can't take a break. She moved her hands to the side of my head "Baby, take a break" I nodded and put my pen down.
She sat on my lap and I buried my face into her neck. She smelled delicious, we haven't had sex since Prom, she's probably mad at me, I have no idea whoever is in this room with us but I don't care. I heard a knock on the door, Lisa quickly got off my lap, I saw Jungkook, Mino, Irene, Kyle, and Tessa. In walked Jae and he looked very serious.
"Jennie, Taeyoung has been missing for four days...I should've told you this but three days ago, Bobby was let out on bail" my heart stopped. It's like my world crumbled as soon as it was starting again.
"I can't find either of them, I need you to be careful, lock all your doors." I nodded and he left, what am I going to do.
"Can I hold someone's phone?" Lisa asked. Tessa gave Lisa her phone and Lisa called someone.
"J'ai deux cibles nécessaires pour l'extermination. Bobby Freeze et Taeyoung Dunham sont leurs noms..." What. The. Actual. Fuck. When did she learn French and why is she using it. "Ils sont après elle, je ne t'ai jamais demandé de faire ça. s'il vous plaît protégez-la." She hung up the phone and looked at me.
"I'll grade these for you...I'll umm see you tonight." She kissed my forehead and left with the stack of papers. I had no idea what just happened, I definitely don't wanna go home but I have to so I can grade. Decisions, decisions...being an adult is overrated.
"Miss Kim" I looked at Jungkook. He looked a little frightened "Do you want Bobby dead?" I didn't shake or nod my head
"I think Lisa just put a bounty on his head...and Taeyoung's." I was shocked along with everything else then Kyle said "No way, there are no assassins in this town"
Oh my god, holy shit, she told Dara. I have to stop her "No, I know an assassin and we need to stop-" my phone started ringing. It was silent. I picked up the phone "Put me on speaker" it was her. I put her on speaker and she said "This is a very serious thing, I need everyone to be attentive and listening" Kyle was giggling, he crossed his arms and said "Ma'am, I don't know what kind of joke this is but can you please explain what's going on" it was silent for the longest time
"Kyle Richard, triplet of the Green household. Siblings are Miyeon and Tessa. In the photography club and loves to draw. I would advise you to wipe the smirk off your face, unfold your arms and listen to what I have to say because your life could depend on it" he quickly unfolded his arms, how could she see us.
"Jungkook look to your left, out the window, to the parking lot, fifth space on the right. What color is the car?" Jungkook slowly turned his head
"Blue" It was silent, how-where is she. That's my car "Jennie do you have insurance...for your car?" Why was she asking that question.
"Yes, why?" a loud boom...a very loud boom was heard. We all quickly got up...my car blew up. I'm...what happened-why is everything going so wrong
"Jennie breathe, do you see the car three spaces on the left, the same model, just black" I looked three spaces to the left. "Yeah I see it" a person got out of the car. They looked to be on the phone...it was Dara.
"I spray painted your car black...whoever's car they blew up...that's unfortunate" we all laughed.
"I should get going, Remember that I'm watching and Kyle...tie your left shoe" she hung up and Kyle went to tie his shoe. She shouldn't have been able to see his shoe. Miyeon ran in "Hey Guys, you know Jeff the pervert, his car exploded" we saw Jeff run outside to the car and he yelled. I kinda felt bad but relieved.
After work I went straight home and into the shower. I loved changing into my lounge clothes after work. I put on a very complicated outfit though and I put my phone in my bra so Dara could track me if she wasn't already. I went around the house to check everything and make sure it was locked. I went to the back door and it was cracked open...I only have a few seconds to act. I took a deep breath and I felt someone grab me roughly from behind. They held my neck and put a cloth over my mouth. I can hold my breath for six minutes.
I knew whatever was on this rag was to make me pass out so I slowly closed my eyes. After a couple seconds they took the rag off and dragged me out of the house, into a van. Luckily this was one of those white vans used to take kids so they were in a whole different section of the car.
"I got her in the back" the car started to move. I called Dara and she picked up.
"Things are about to get bumpy, I'm sniping the tires" I hung up and the car went down on the left, I almost died. It did the same on the other side and I grunted "SHIT" I heard both their car doors open and then the back door open.
They pulled me out and I tried to fight but Bobby held a gun to my head. "Pull it" we all looked to see a person in all black, wearing a black mask.
"You can't pull the trigger because you love her" it's Dara. Dara pulled out two pistols and aimed it at both of them. Bobby dropped the gun and they put their hands up. I quickly ran behind her and she put one of the pistols in her belt while pulling out her silencer.
"You two are dying today, any last words. If you run then I'll automatically shoot you" she took off her mask and Bobby's jaw dropped "Dara...are you serious, you can't hurt a fly. Just give us Jennie and no one will get hurt." She shot his foot and he fell to the ground. Taeyoung looked like he was about to shit himself.
"I've killed more people than you can imagine. I don't take kindly to someone effecting my daughter's education." I was beyond the point of confusion "At 16 I was raped. I got pregnant and had Lisa at 17...I was in no way ready to be a mother so my sister raised her for me in our home town. I told Lisa the truth on her birthday...I insisted she continued to call me her aunt because I was not a good mother. I also told her that I wanted to tell you when I was ready Jennie." I nodded.
"Men that try to use women for their own personal benefits disgust me. That's why I do this" Bobby looked pissed. Taeyoung still looked scared "I LOVE HER. NO ONE IS TAKING HER AWAY FROM ME. IF I HAVE TO GET THROUGH YOU TO HAVE HER THEN-" I saw Bobby's body go limp as a small sound filled my ears. The bullet went through his head and he laid there...completely limp. I didn't feel anything...besides relief...but we still had another one.
Dara aimed the gun to Taeyoung. "P-please don't kill me. I was accepted to Yale, I'll leave her alone and I-I swear I won't tell anyone, just let me finish my senior year...please" Dara put her finger on the trigger. I went to her ear "You might be a cold blooded assassin and you haven't done this in a while but your emotions are clouding your judgement...twilight kills registered sex offender and Yale scholar...keep it clean sweetheart" she lowered her gun and sighed "Boy, you better get this truck out of here, I shot all the street cameras so we have thirty minutes before the police arrive, Jennie let's go" Taeyoung went to the truck and I ran out with Dara.
