Chapter 2 - The long first day

Once the group went inside the school They had 12 minutes before the assembly.

Katara - Ok does everyone know where to go for the first period?

Aang- Yes
Sokka - yes

Katara kept talking to the group as they walked to the gym for the assembly. Sokka looked at Aang with an annoyed face from Katara being motherly. Aang didn't know why he made that face so he looked away,

Sokka rolled his eyes and turned to Toph and made an annoyed. He kept staring at her and waited for her to say something about Katara talking too much and being motherly. Sokka tap her shoulder

Toph - What Sokka?

Sokka - Why are you ignoring m-

He stopped himself he remembered that she is blind! He felt so dumb he always forgot that.

Sokka - never mind Toph I forgot you were blind
Toph - Whatever, I just remembered Katara I lost my schedule, I need a new one.
Katara turned around from the front of the group and looked at Toph annoyed

Katara - Why didn't you tell me sooner, the assembly is about to begin.

Toph just stood there and waiting for Katara to take her to get the news she scheduled.

Katara - Fine Toph let's go look for the office

Sokka - No Katara it's fine, it's your first year and I know you have been waiting for this Assembly. I'll take Toph I already know where the office is, I'll meet you guys later in the gym.

Katara nods and looked at Aang he nods as well and they walked together toward the gym.

Toph point of view

Toph was upset that Sokka was taking her. She didn't know why but every time she was with him she kinda got nervous. But she never let him see that. But Katara and Aang are gone so it's going to be harder to hide it. They walked in silence for a while. Toph didn't know what to talk about, Then Sokka asked a question

Sokka - Why do you need a schedule if you can't read.?

*Toph Rolled her eyes*

Toph - It's in Braille meathead.

Sokka looked confused

Sokka - What's Br-
( he was cut off by Toph)

Toph - Blind people language idiot, how do you think I've been doing school work all these years.

Sokka - I never thought about that before.
Toph and Sokka made it to the office. When they got there the lady at the front desk she was confused why they were not at the assembly.

Front desk lady - Why are you two doing here, shouldn't you be in the assembly?

Toph - I'm Toph Beifong we're here because I need Another Schedule.
