Chapter 18 - Thanksgiving

Katara point of view
I know this is supposed to be a vacation but I just had to wake up at 9:30 am to start cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Once I took a shower and got dressed I headed to the kitchen and started making sure I had everything I needed. But with my luck I didn't so I headed to the market and grabbed a few things. When I got back I saw that Aang was awake and looking for me

Aang - There you are
Aang - I thought something happened to you

Katara - Oh I'm so sorry Aang, I went to the market to grab a few things.
Katara - And it was still early so I didn't want to wake you guys up

Aang - It's ok, I'm just glad you are alright
Aang - So need any help with the cooking?

Katara - No I'm all set
Katara - But if I do need help, You will be my guy
Aang - Ok, I'm going to wake up the others
Katara - Alright

Aang left the kitchen and I checked the time
* 10:57 am*
I put on an apron and got to work, I started making the easy stuff first like mash potatoes and corn. After that, I continued cooking and later checked the time again
*11:42*
I wanted to know what everyone else was doing so I looked over at the living room and Saw Aang and Sokka playing Among us on their phones.
Suki was doing Yoga in the other room. And Toph was probably still asleep. I went back to cooking for a little bit and decided to take a break and watch some FRIENDS with Aang, Suki and Sokka were next to each other and talking. I decided to wake up Toph because she couldn't just sleep the whole day, When I got to her room she wasn't asleep she was already dressed for the day and everything
Toph - Hey Katara
Katara - oh hey Toph, I came up here to see what you are doing
Toph - oh well I'm on my way downstairs
Katara - Ok
We went downstairs and I decided to cook some more

Sokka point of view

Toph came downstairs beautiful as always. But she didn't sit with us she just sat on the floor of the living room. I went to the kitchen and saw Katara cooking, I was so hungry and she didn't make lunch. So I headed down to the town and
And got a small lunch for everyone, we all ate and hung out in the living until Katara was done. Finally, at the end of the day, Katara was done with the thanksgiving dinner.
I sat down next to Suki and Toph was across from us sitting next to Aang and Katara, We continued eating until non of us could eat anymore. I thanked Katara for dinner and headed to my room, I was on my phone and watching some Netflix. Then Toph walked up to my room, I was confused cause the whole house was asleep and I thought she was asleep as well.
Toph - Hey
Sokka - Hi what are you doing up?
Toph - oh well I couldn't fall asleep
Toph - And you the only one up at this time
Sokka - *hahaha*
Sokka - So what do you want to do
Toph - Idk maybe just hang out
Sokka - ok then

*We sat at the end of my bed together and just sat there in silence, I was still looking into

Toph Beautiful eyes and how they shimmered
In the nighttime*
Sokka - Your really pretty Toph
Toph - Wow that's not what I was expecting to talk about
Toph - But thanks

*I couldn't help it anymore, I pulled Toph in for a kiss I didn't care if I was with Suki when I kissed her nothing mattered anymore. But she didn't pull away so we just sat there in silence until we pulled away for air.*
Toph - Sokka I-

* I cut Toph off I knew what she was going to say*
Sokka - Toph I know I'm still dating Suki
Sokka - But I love you, And I can't wait until I break up with Suki
Sokka - I wish I could tell you why but I can't
Toph - Sokka it ok
Sokka - But what if We date in secret until I break up with Suki
Sokka - I know it will be risky but I don't care

Toph - I don't mind that idea at all

*We went back for another kiss before Toph went to her room for the night, I could believe it I had my dream girl*
