Disclosure: I do not ship Chris Stewart and Iris West. Just letting you guys know.

Chris Stewart woke up to the sound of his alarm clock ringing on his bedside table. tiredly, he reached for it and hit the button to mute it. As he yawned, he stared at the framed picture of his girlfriend, and smiled. He yawned once more before heading to the shower. He greeted his mother as he came down the stairs and entered the kitchen. Ready for school today? Maddie Stewart asked as Chris took a seat at the table. Yeah, I guess so. He gave a straight answer. Ever since the traumatic incident Chris went through, he had been to therapy and had made a speedy recovery. His mom still worried about him, but he seemed to be doing better than before. He was no longer depressed, instead he found a girl that made him feel happy and whole again. There is nothing that Maddie wants more than for her son to be happy and to meet the right person. Ever since the incident, both Maddie and Chris had become cautious and careful of the people that they meet.

Chris grabbed his backpack and phone before following his mom to the car. After jumping into the car, Chris put on his ear buds and selected a song on his phone before starting the 30 minute ride to the high school. Want me to pick you up today? His mother asked him when they had stopped at the school parking lot. Its okay, I'll walk home. He removed the ear pieces. You sure? His mom asked. Yeah, Iris and I always walk home together. He smiled at his mother. Okay then. I guess I'll see you later. She said her goodbyes as he got out the car. She watched as he disappeared up a fleet of stairs to the school entrance. The instant Chis walked through the doors of Fairview Heights high school, he was greeted anonymously by his girlfriend. As soon as Iris saw him, she had flung her arms around him and embraced him. Hey. He greeted as he kissed her before bro hugging Cisco and embracing Caitlin. So how was your weekend? Caitlin asked as the 4 friends walked together.

Welcome back Vanessa. I sure hope that mental institute helped you. Principal Overburt read through Vanessa's papers. Oh it sure did principal O. I'm feeling good as new. In fact, I feel like a changed person. Vanessa lied. Well that's good. Seeing as it says here that you'll be continuing with your psychiatrist Dr Bower, and that you've been avoiding drugs and alcholol. Principal Overburt listed. Okay, so, read these over especially our rules of conduct. I run a tight chip. She handed Vanessa some papers. Welcome back to Fairview Heights, Vanessa. The principal smiled at her as Vanessa got up from where she was sitting.

Later that day, the bell rang and everyone flooded out of the classrooms. The school day was going by fast and it was already lunch. Iris was putting her books in her locker, when Chris came from behind. He placed his ear pieces in her ears and started to play Perfect by Ed Sheeran. Our song? Iris turned around to face him. Yeah, I listen to it like everyday. Even when I'm down. It makes me think of you. Chris grinned. Well, I feel the same way about our song too. Iris put her arms around his neck. The song played when they went on their first date together, and it would often play when they would go to different places together. So they decided to make that song their special song. The song, along with Iris and his friends, had helped Chris with his depression and his past with Vanessa. But he hasn't told Iris and his friends about Vanessa yet. He was just too scared to tell them, especially Iris. He had decided to tell them when he was ready.

Chris leaned in and kissed her. But they were not aware that Vanessa had been watching them. She had just came out of a classroom, and noticed them cooing each other. She was not happy about this income. I'll meet up with you guys in a bit, I just need to go to the bathroom. Iris said before Chris gave her another kiss before leaving. She closed her locker and headed to the bathroom as Vanessa followed. A few minutes later Iris came out of one of the stalls and washed her hands as Vanessa entered the bathroom. Oh, I'm sorry. Do you think you can help me? Vanessa spoke, getting Iris's attention. I'm new here, and I'm trying to find the science class, room 106? She lied. Oh, its just down the hall from here, then you make a right. Iris gave her directions. Thanks. I'm Vanessa by the way. She faked a smile. I'm Iris. Nice to meet you Vanessa. She smiled before leaving. When she left, Vanessa's smile disappeared and turned into an evil glare.

As Vanessa entered the cafeteria, she noticed Iris and Chris laughing with their friends. He had his arm around her, as he whispered something in her ear. As soon as Vanessa got home from school, she started to rage. Ahhh!!! She screamed as she knocked things over from her bedroom desk. I can't believe Chris got another girlfriend! Vanessa raged. He thinks he can replace me with that scumbag Bitch! We'll see if he can replace me. I'm not replaceable, and I'm not going down without a fight. Vanessa growled.
