A Boyfriend's Nightmare

Chapter 8

The next morning at school, Chris and his friends were standing outside by the steps waiting for Cisco to arrive. He told Chris over the phone that he had an idea of how they can get evidence and proof of what Vanessa had done. It wasn't long till Cisco arrived. So what's your idea? Caitlin asked. I know, it may sound like a bad idea at first, but its an idea. And its bound to work. Cisco said before letting them in on the idea. Iris has to befriend Vanessa. Again. He suggested. What?! They were all in shock. Nuh uh, Cisco I'm not letting Iris get near her again. Chris shook his head as he put a defensive arm around her. If Iris gets close to Vanessa, she's bound to squeal and we'll have all the answers we need. Cisco explained. I don't know guys, its too dangerous. Worried Caitlin. Fine. I'll do it. Iris said. It's too risky. Iris are you sure about this? Chris asked. Yeah. I mean she has to be stopped anyways. Before she does something drastic. Iris murmured. Just be careful. Chris kissed her.

Vanessa had came into the bathroom and heard crying from one of the stalls. Hello? She called out. Vanessa? Is that you? Its me Iris. Iris wept. Iris? Are you okay? What's wrong? Vanessa asked as Iris opened the door. Luckily there was no one else in the bathroom. Just them two. Its Chris. And Caitlin and Cisco. They-They shunned me. They're not talking to me anymore. I don't know what I did. She wiped a tear from her eye. You were right about Chris. He did the same thing to me too. He-He raped me. And then I caught him kissing some other girl. Iris cried. Vanessa was surprised and shocked. Hey, its gonna be okay. I know, Chris is a good for nothing Jerk. He just wants to take advantage of you. Vanessa pulled her into a hug. I'm so stupid! Why did I even trust him! Iris growled. You're not stupid okay? Chris is the stupid one. And Cisco and Caitlin... They're just plain dumb for not being a good friend to you. Vanessa consoled her. Whereas I, I can be a good friend to you. Better than Cisco and Caitlin ever were. Vanessa hugged her. 

Yeah, they're just a bunch of bitches anyway. And you know what the worst part is? They actually confessed to writing that message on my locker. Even Chris was in on it. Iris blubbered. I'm so sorry this had to happen to you. Vanessa was now brushing her hair and moving it back with her hand. Hey, why don't you come over to my house tomorrow? Vanessa asked. I would love to. Thanks for being such a good friend to me Vanessa. Iris smiled as Vanessa hugged her again. 

As they walked out of the bathroom, they could see Chris, Cisco and Caitlin with horrid looks on their faces. Hey slut, where do you think you're going? Caitlin taunted her. Just ignore them. Vanessa put her arm around her and led her away from them. When the coast was clear they had met up and Iris had told them that the plan was going well so far.  Great. Now just keep being friendly and make sure you don't blow your cover Cisco said. I'm going to her house tomorrow. Lets just hope we get something. Iris sighed. Maybe you shouldn't go to her house. Chris had second thoughts. I have too. Its the only way we can try and end this. Iris tried to convince him. Promise me you'll be careful. Chris kissed her. I will. I have to go. Iris quickly said her goodbyes before leaving.
