11-Find Your Way Back Home

"Vacation in Seoul?"
Y/n nodded.
"Ji-yong suggested we should go for the weekend. We have unfinished business there as well as visiting his old friends."
"I understand. When do you and your brother leave?"
"We're leaving after I finish work. We're taking the metro there and we're staying at XXXX Hotel."
"I've always wanted to go to Seoul, I hear it's nice!"
Lucas turned around to see YangYang smiling at him.
"YangYang,where have you been? I haven't seen you in a while."
YangYang scratched the back of his head and laughed.
"I've just been working in Germany for a while. I went down to visit old school friends."
YangYang then noticed Y/n and smiled.
"I haven't seen you in a while either Y/n."
"Yeah,it's actually been awfully quiet the last few months since you haven't been pestering me."
YangYang laughed and then noticed how close Y/n and Lucas were.
"I have been gone for a while but are you two?"
Y/n and Lucas looked at each other and nodded.
"O-oh I see, well i'll be off! I've gotta go put stuff back on my desk."
YangYang waved to Y/n and Lucas as they waved back.
"I still can't believe you went to high school together."
"Yeah. It's a weird thought but, I thank him for being nice to me. I feel bad thought for the many times I turned down a hangout with him. Maybe you two should hangout. You kind've need some friends Yukhei."
"What?! I have plenty of friends! Like Bolin and you. Plus I have so many back home."
"Don't you think it would be nice to have someone here to know as well?"
Lucas thought back on his friends from China and felt a slight pain in his chest.
"I guess so, I didn't think about it and now I really miss them."

friday

Lucas sighed as he sat in his desk. Everyone had gone home for the weekend and decided to stay later. Bolin had gone on a date and Lucas was even surprised as well.
"You're still here?"
Lucas turned around to see YangYang.
"Yeah. Usually i'm with Y/n and we go things together."
YangYang looked at Lucas weird and Lucas realized what he said.
"Not that....I mean we do but what I mean is...well. So yes but also no. Wait why am I even telling you this?"
"I don't know. You're the one who went on explaining it weird and told me things I didn't really want to know."
"Well you're the one who made it weird!" exclaimed Lucas.
"Anyways....I was taken by surprise by you and Y/n's relationship."
"You were?"
"Yeah it's just that I didn't ever think she'd date again after her last boyfriend from high school."
YangYang then placed his hands on Lucas shoulders as he sat down in the chair next to Lucas.
"Can I tell you something? You have to promise to not say a word,especially to Y/n."
Lucas nodded his head. YangYang took a deep breath and then looked at the ground.
"In high school,someone would write Y/n these love notes everyday. They always brought a smile to her face and I remember her boyfriend getting so mad. To tell you the truth,her boyfriend at the time was so cruel to her and everyone felt bad for her,just nobody ever said anything. We all just kinda watched from a far and it's horrible that we did that."
YangYang then looked up at Lucas.
"My confession is....I was in love with Y/n in high school and still am to this day. I-I'm sorry."
Just then YangYang put his face in his hands and heaved sigh.
"When I moved from Taiwan to California,she was the first person to show me kindness in years."

flashback

The bell for students to get to class had just rung and students were running left and right trying to find their classrooms. YangYang looked down at his schedule and then started walking to his classroom. Suddenly someone crashed into him, knocking him down. All his stuff in his backpack came out and YangYang frantically tried to stuff it back in. The person didn't even apologize and just walked off.
"Hey Leo apologize and help him!"
YangYang looked up to see Y/n scolding the boy who bumped into him.
"Yeah sorry." said the boy as he just rolled his eyes.
He walked off,leaving an annoyed Y/n.
"Sorry about him. Let me help you."
Y/n squatted down onto the ground and started helping YangYang put his stuff inside his backpack.
"My names Y/n, what's yours?"
YangYang felt his cheeks heat up as the girl smiled at him.
"Oh my n-name is YangYang!"
"That's a cool name! Anyways looks like your first period is with me. Come on we can go together!"
Y/n grabbed the boy's forearm and led him to their class.

present

Once YangYang finished his story and his first interaction with Y/n. He began to cry softly. Lucas felt his heart pull a few strings and hugged YangYang.
"I'm sorry. I should've known she would never reciprocate my feelings. I've been getting rejecting everything single friday for the past few years of working alongside her."
YangYang then pulled away from Lucas and smiled.
"I'm willing to give her up though. I love her too much to prevent her from being with someone who makes her smile. I always wanted to have that affect on her but,i'm glad it's you Lucas. I've never seen her so happy like this in the years i've known her."
"Thank you YangYang."

in Seoul

"Are you sure about this?"
"I'm more than sure."
The two siblings looked at each other and then walked to the front door. Ji-yong knocked on the door and they booth waited in silence.
"Who are you?" said a males voice
The male looked at both of them and looked like he had seen a ghost.
"Honey? Who's at the do-"
A woman came out and saw the two siblings at the door.
"This isn't real? It can't be...." said the woman
"Ji-yong? Y/n?" said the man
"Yeah it's us." said Ji-yong
The elderly couple both began to cry and hugged Y/n and Ji-yong.
"I'm so sorry for everything I did to you both. It's unforgivable. You shouldn't even call me your father."
"Same goes for me. I don't have the right to be called a mom, especially by you Y/n."
"I'm sorry for leaving mom and dad. I only recently came back into contact with Y/n by chance. It was her idea to come here to see you both."
They all went inside and had a bond moment that most family's have. Even though it was late,it was all Y/n could've wanted more in life.

next chapter is going to the ending for this sorry. i do have plans to continue this story with a different book because of the two different themes of the story lines.
