The whole christmas period was over, no more mince pies, presents, snow or macintosh spice candles.   Although I have had the best christmas that I've ever had in my entire life... It was a shame that it was over. I'd be back to school in a week... well back at a new school. I still couldn't get my mind off of what happened with me and Matthew, it was so perfect, I would do it a million times over if I could. Although, no one could find out. I would be judged so badly, especially with starting a new school and everything, I sat on the warm, fabric sofa downstairs and sighed. I looked outside of the front window, staring at the iced over grass and paths. I looked to Matthews house, only to notice two people stood at his door. One was about 6ft with brown hair, the other was a little short with bright blonde hair. It immediately clicked and I knew exactly who those two people were. Of course! It was the 28th of December, Atticus and Cam were back!

I couldn't contain myself, I ran past my mum nearly knocking her off of her feet and slammed my door shut. I rummaged through my drawers, I was already dressed but I wanted to look my best, as I was seeing my best friends again! I picked out my precious white ankle socks and teamed them with a pair of studded black ankle boots. I added a gold necklace to my blouse which went perfectly with the gold detailing on my boots. I grabbed my phone and a ring that was on my bed side table and headed downstairs. I shouted to my mum that I was going out and she smiled at me. I softly closed the door and let out a little squeal. I couldn't believe how exciting this was, finally seeing them again. I hopped, skipped and jumped across the road and right up to Matthews front door. I took a deep breath and gently tapped the door.

Atticus' Point Of View

-------------------------------

I was ridiculously tired, we had only been back for a day! Me and Cameron had an eventful few weeks in Florida, met a few girls but if I'm honest, I still can't get Florence off of my mind. Matthew told me that she's living in Montreal now, but that's just too far to travel. I can't ever get her off my mind, it's the same with Cassie. She was so beautiful, perfect and made Matthew so happy. When they broke it off, I had never seen him like that. He looked as if his heart had been ripped out and repeatedly stamped on, I didn't even want to imagine what she was like, anyway hopefully I will get to see her reasonably soon.

The two weeks I had away with Cam and his family were great though, we do it every year. Our families have always been close since we worked together on My Babysitter's a Vampire, we're in a short film together too... I've always been closer to Matthew, but it's nice seeing Cameron and his family really are great, his sister is pretty cool too! But we always go somewhere different every christmas time, and this year it was Florida. We stayed in a penthouse suite in a pretty posh hotel, it had a spa and everything, I wont lie I did get a facial, so did Cam though! Embarrassing. But we're back now and I'm currently having a catch up with Matthew's mum while Cam and Matt chat about Florida. I walked over to Matthew and Cam when I heard a light knock on the door, 'I'll get it!' I shouted to everyone. I walked calmly to the door, expecting it to be someone selling something, but to my disbelief it was Cassie. I knew she lived over the road but I didn't expect her to come over, or to even care that we were back. She obviously missed us as much as we missed her. She jumped at me and flung her arms around my neck, kissing my cheek.

'Oh Atticus! I've missed you so much!' She screamed into my ear. I attempted to hug her back, but I was still stunned. She leapt off my and ran into Matthews house, she obviously felt comfortable here. By this time Cameron had noticed her and had stood up, she ran towards him and hugged him crazily too. I noticed Matthew smiling and looking at her with lust, I knew it, he loved her so much. Them being together, all be it it was a crazy coincidence that she's moved here, but them being together was perfect. It made him happy and I loved that.
