It was Halloween night and y/n was out with her "friends".

They never really payed attention to her.

Or cared about her.

They were all talking in front of a lake, just eating candy.

Y/n got bored.

She looked around for something to do.

She got up and started walking towards the woods. Her friends not noticing. Obviously.

She came across a large manor and as she walked closer towards it, she got an eerie feeling.

She liked that feeling, so she decided to sneak past the gate and explore the garden.

Y/n found a horse stable and decided to see if there were any horses.

She walked into the stable and was greeted by a black horse.

"Well hello there!" The girl said, petting the animal.

"Hi." She heard a voice say behind her.

She quickly turned around and saw a peculiar boy standing in the doorway with his hands in his pockets.

"Who are you?" He said.

"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know anyone lived here" she said

"It's okay, I don't really have any friends so I don't mind the company." He said with a smile.

"My friends don't like me."

"Then I guess it's meant to be." He said making the girl giggle.

"I'm miles." He held his hand out for a shake.

"Y/n" she said shaking his hand.

They began to walk around the garden. Talking about anything and everything. They clicked instantly.

"Let's go inside, it's getting kind of dark." The boy said.

"Woah this place is crazy" she thought to herself walking into the manor.

They went up to Miles' room to watch a movie when his little sister came in.

"Miles!" She said running up to the boy and hugging him.

Y/n smiled at the boy's bond with his sister.

"Who's this?" The little girl said.

"This is y/n, I met her outside."

"Hi y/n! My name is flora!" Said the smiling girl.

"Hi flora! I love your name!" Y/n said smiling back.

"Thank you." The girl said blushing.

The three of them watched hocus pocus together, sharing y/n's candy.

Flora eventually went to bed, leaving the two teenagers alone.

Miles played guitar, and y/n sang.

They went swimming together.

Watched another movie.

Made cookies.

And eventually relaxed in Miles' bed.

Y/n cuddled into miles falling asleep.

The boy was happy. And fell asleep too.
