Dress Shopping

Its been a week since me and Derric had sex. I have been busy with all my classes and today of all days, I had to video chat with my parents. This was where I had to invite them to the Community Ball and introduce them to Derric. I was trying to call my parents when Derric walked up to me. "Hey gorgeous. Whatcha doing?" I kissed him and showed him my phone. Derric's face almost goes pale until I reassured him. "They'll love you, D." He half smiled and we walked to a bench. Derric and I dtart to kiss when my phone vibrates. "Shit! Its them." Derric laughs and kisses my temple. "You got this, babe."

I answer my phone and put it on video chat. "Hey, sweetie. Look, Sarah. Serenity's on." "Oh. Hey, Serenity. How's school?" I took a deep breath and answered them. "Good actually. Um, would you guys like to go to a Community Ball?" My mom's eyes glow and she's really excited. "Of course we'd love, too." Then, my dad asks the major question. "Got any guys chasing your heart, Rose?" Derric smirks at me and I blush. "Dad, don't call me that. Um, anyways there's more." Dad and Mom nod. "Guys, I'd like you to meet Derric. Derric Addams." I moved my phone high enough to show me and Derric. Dad must have spit out his coffee and Mom looked shocked. "Hello, there, Derric. Its nice to meet you." "Likewise, Mr and Mrs. Snow."

"So, are you guys dating?" Derric smiles and laughs at me blushing. "Yes, Mom." "Alright, arenyou going dress shopping?" Derric nods and answers. "My mom is meeting her here. If you'd like you are welcome to join?" My mom's heart was gushing with happiness. "I would love that." "Okay, mom. Meet us at two thirty." "Alright sweetie." I waved to them and hung up. "Well let's go dress shopping." I looked at him confused and wasn't sure what he meant. "Oh. I have to go, too. Mom's been annoying me with making sure I have a suit." I laugh and stand up. "Well let's go, sexy."

Our parents decided to ride together and Derric's sisters rode with us. Analise enjoyed talking with me and we became close friends in a matter of seconds. We drove into town and found the perfect dress shop. We all walked in and met the owner. She enjoyed us all and showed us to the back where we had the whole area to ourselves. "Alright, Serenity, dear, there's three dresses in there for you to try on." Derric's mom ushers everyone into the fitting rooms. I go inside and find the three dresses. There was a green one with a slit on the side, a purple dress with a v-neck and the one that stuck out was the red dress. Red has to be my signature color.

The red dress flowed to the floor with small straps beaded designs, an open back, sweetheart neckline and it was mermaid shaped. I instantly put the dress on and looked at myself in the mirror. I heard Derric's voice and everyone's response. "Serenity's going to love that on you." I peek around the corner and find him in a black suit, black dress shirt, a Italian red and black design vest and black dress pants. I feel heat rising to my cheeks and start to take deep breaths. "Hey guys. I'm coming out!" Everyone was rushing to get settled. I heard my dad holler back at me. "Alright, princess. We're ready!" I walked out to them and instantly Derric's eyes filled with pure lust. I then heard him accidentally let a few words slip. "Holy shit." He reached his tie and adjusted it so he could breathe. My dad watched and laughed.

Derric's mom and my mom were already close as friends. They told me I looked absolutely beautiful and Derric looked at me. "Derric, you look handsome." Derric smiled and blushed. "Thanks, love. You look absolutely stunning yourself." He kissed my temple and asked if I liked it. My mom bought her dress, shoes, dad's suit, shoes and my shoes. Derric's mom bought everything else. Derric was the last one out of the store and he smiled at me. "Whats up, babe?" Derric walked over to me and whispered in my ear. "You owe me for what you did to me in there." He ,smirked, and winked at me. Jade was excited to be riding with us again. We drove to Derric's house to get ready for the Community Ball.

The Community Ball started at 8:30pm and it was six o'clock. Us girls got ready upstairs while the guys got ready downstairs. Derric's mom did my hair and Analise did my makeup. My hair was wavy and part of it was half up. My mom helped me put my dress on and the shoes were just the right height. Us women were ready to meet the men downstairs and we heard them yelling. "Come on! We gotta go!" We opened the door and Mom went down first.

Dad was probably drooling over her right now, Analise went down and her date was excited to see her. Bridget went down and Fred enjoyed her as always. It was my turn. I slowly made my way down the stairs and Derric looked stunning. His hair was flat with a spike in the front and clean shaved on the side. He looked up at me and I could feel sparks. This dress might be ripped off me before tonight ends. Derric walks over to me and hands me a gift. "Open it, love." Our parents were already outside and I was extremely nervous. I slowly open the wrapped gift and see a beautiful black box. I look at Derric and he's already smiling. I take a few deep breaths and then open it. Inside the black box, a garnet with a black ring that had extra garnets on the sides of the band. I looked at Derric with furrowed eyebrows wandering what he was doing. "This isn't an engagement ring. This is my promise to you that I will still be here and wait for you to be ready for marriage. It's also a promise of my undying love for you." I hugged him and kissed him. "That's so sweet, love. It's beautiful." Derric slide the ring onto my wedding finger and kissed my forehead. "Now, I've given you forever."
