Nine Months Later

I was getting closer to having our baby and Derric was closer to being paranoid. He has stressed himself out to the max and working hard to make sure we have what we need. Derric came home later that night and got in the shower. I got up to go talk to him, but I felt sharp pains. OH MY GOD! I start panicking and try to get to the bathroom. Derric shuts the water off and opens the shower doors. As he steps out, he dries off and gets dressed. When he opens the bathroom door, he is met with a panicking Serenity. He grabs her and starts asking a bunch of random questions, but Serenity only answers with painful screams. He quickly grabs their bags and carefully escorts Serenity to their car. Driving to the hospital, Derric struggled to call people and let them know what was going on. Derric finally made it to the hospital and parked the car illegally. Derric ran to the Emergency entrance and begged for someone to help Serenity.

The doctors rushed Serenity to her main doctor to bring the baby out. Derrick ran in the room and the nurses dressed him in scrubs. Serenity was getting closer amd was fully dilated. The doctors and the nurses were at her aide. It became clear to Derric that their child was coming. "Derric!" He stepped next to the bed that was holding Serenity and he brushed her hair out of her face. "Love, you'll be okay. Just a bit more longer?" Serenity cried and began pushing. She kept going till she heard the wail she's been waiting to hear. "Great job, mommy." The wail coming from the small human echoed into the room and then fell silent. Serenity looked over at Derric who grabbed the bundle of joy. Serenity wandered when it was her turn. Derric walks over and hands the pink blanket to her.

When holding her, Serenity felt a ting in her heart. "What's her name?" Derric smiled at Serenity and answered, "Azalea. Azalea Rose." Serenity smiled and let Azalea's new family hold her. Derric lays in bed next to Serenity and holds her while they watch their family's faces embrace their new loved one.

2 in a Half Years Later (Wedding Day)

Derric frantically runs to the grooms room to get ready. He opens the door and smiles. His groomsmen, friends and family have dropped by to say hello. "Serenity must be one lucky gal, huh?" Derric smiles and hugs his mother. "Yes, Mama. She is, but I'm even more lucky." There was a knock on the door and Jennifer walked in. Memories of Derric and Jennifer's old relationship came to play. Them almost getting pregnant and them almost married. He shrugged them off once he remembered that he ended it because she cheated on him with Alex. "Jennifer." "Hello, Derric." "What do you want?" "I simply came here to congratulate you. I'm glad that someone can actually keep up with your neediness." The door opened and Alex walked in. "Hey, D-" He stopped and saw Jennifer. "What in the hell are you doing here?"

Serenity's POV

"ALright, ladies, where's the bride?" Derric's sister quickly went to the bathroom and knocked. "Serenity, dear, you've been in there for a while now. You okay?" Serenity starred at herself in the bathroom mirror. She had her hair down, wavy, part of it was braided into a small ponytail. She had white and red flowers in her hair. Her makeup was flawless and god, her dress, was marvelous. But, she was still nervous about Derric possibly not being there. They did wake up fighting about the wedding and other things. The bathroom door opened and she looked at her new sister. "My, you look ravishing." She smiled and walked out ready to put on her wedding dress. Her mother came in and opened the dress bag to find the most stunning dress she ever saw. "I am so happy for you, dear. I hope he makes you and my granddaughters truly happy." She kissed her mom's cheek and got help to put the final piece on.

All the women were gossiping about what was going on with the men. "What's wrong, ladies?" They looked at Serenity and decided to tell her. "Derric's ex girlfriend Jennifer is here." Serenity looked over at her little girl and watched her walk over. "Mommy, can I go see Daddy?" Serenity looked at her Mama and smiled. "Sure sweetie. Go show your Daddy your dress." Azalea skipped to the door and left her Mama to go to her Daddy. "Serenity, don't worry about anything, Derric will handle it." "I sure hope so."

Derric's POV

The door opened again and Jade walked in the room. Jennifer turned to see that the little girl stepped on her dress. "Hey! Watch it you little brat!" Jade looked up at the lady and tears started pouring. Alex looked over and went over to Jennifer. "Hello! Kid, you need to apologize, now!" Word had gotten to Serenity and she was not happy at all. As soon as Derric stood next to Jade, Serenity threw the door open. "Who's Jennifer?!" Jennifer stepped over to her and held her hand out. "I'm Jennifer. It's so nice to finally meet you." Serenity walked straight up to her and looked her up and down. "Did you yell at that little girl?" Serenity pointed to her little girl in her arms. "Yes and I am sorry for that ma'am. I don't know whose kid she is, but I don't condone a little girl disrespecting me and my dress." Serenity looked at Derric and Derric shook his head no. "Well, Jennifer let's make one thing straight." "What's that?" Serenity smirked and turned to Jennifer. "That little girl is my daughter. She's the daughter of me and my husband, Derric. I don't condone a grown ass woman yelling at my child! So, you can take your tramp stamping looking ass out of this building and away from my husband, now!" Serenity turned and looked at everyone. "Let's focis on our wedding pleas, not hookers on the street." Serenity walked out and went back to her room.

Jade looked at Derric and laughed. "Mama looks mad, Dad." Derric smiles and hugs her. "Yeah, that's Mommy everyday, baby." Serenity finally made it down the aisle and they exchanged their vows. The receptions was a blast and their wedding dance came up next. Derric grabbed his beautiful wife and danced with her the rest of the night. They decided to bring their little girls to the beach with them for their honeymoon.

Five months later

Derric pulls in the driveway and parks the car. His phone is ringing off the hook and he's frustrated. The door to his family's house opens and out walks one of the workers. "Hey, Derric." He looks up and sees blue eyes and blonde wavy hair. "I am Destiny. I am your mother's personal assistant." "Nice to meet you, Destiny." He walks up the steps of the porch and smiles at the blonde. His heart starts to flutter and he tries to stay away but her stare's intoxicating. "Speaking of my mother. Where can I find her?" "Oh, she's in her office with some dark haired woman and two kids." Derric swallows hard and just walks by her. He walks through the hallway, up the stairs and down the hall ot his mother's office. Destiny is close on his heels. He hears his little girls laughing and his wife talking to his mother. He knocks on the door and enters. Destiny starts to interrupt when she hears unbelievable words. "Daddy!" "Hey, honey. Didn't know you were back already?" He kisses his girls and walks over to his wife and kisses her passionately. Destiny's stare at the two lovers was pure hatred for the woman and she hated the bitches chidlren. Not knowing the oldest was Derric's.
