Right, I got this recipe on a school calendar on the month of December. It's a good way of using up left over turkey from Christmas. But, since it's the only thing I could think of for today, you get it early. Yay! It's really nice though - one of my favourite meals.
Ingredients:
Right, you'll need TURKEY! Surprise! About 3 fillets should be plenty. I like a lot of turkey in it. So, knock yourself out. (Or chicken...)
1 small onion
1 clove of garlic
2 sticks of celery
1/2 red pepper
1/2 yellow pepper
1 can of condensed cream of chicken soup
30ml of mayonnaise
A dash of lemon juice
Rice for however many you're serving
I don't have time to do all the funny step titles today (sorry!) so, in basic terms:
1. Fry the turkey (or chicken :P) in salt and a bit of pepper (and oil... duh!)
2. Chop up all the veggies
3. Fry them
4. Mix the condensed chicken soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt and pepper in a jug.
5. Mix the sauce with the veggies and turkey
6. Grate cheese over the top
7. Put in the oven for 30 mins at 180*C
8. Don't forget the rice! I always do :P
9. Serve and enjoy =D
Note: It's nice with crisps as a side thingy...
