Chapter 30

Sidharth wanted to talk to her as she was still not talking to him even after the conversation they had with her grandmom. She had ran back into her room locking herself inside laughing silently. She was teasing him to no end. Sidharth was worried and restless the whole time, sitting back in his room. Pammi came to call him down for dinner but he denied nicely as he was full already because of the afternoon's meal and secondly he was sad as he was unable to talk his love. She got a bit tensed when he didn't came down for dinner.

All the what ifs were going on in her head. What if he was not well, what if he felt bad about something, what if he was hurt, what if she had crossed her line by not giving him a chance to redeem himself or by not talking to him till now. After everyone had their dinner and went back to their respective rooms, Shehnaaz tiptoed to the kitchen, took a plate keeping two parathas, some curd and went to his room.

Shehnaaz - Sidhaaaarthh. (She squeaked)
But there was no response, she knocked but no-one opened the door. She opened the door getting impatient by the silence from the other side to find bedroom empty with his bag opened and some tangled cloths strewn all over his bed.

Shehnaaz - Hayee siyappa pade... Isne Kya halat bana rakha hae, isse toh packing bhi dhang se ny hoti (She whined) ..... But yeh hae kaha?

She walked up with the plate to the roof top and there he was looking handsome as ever in his black T-shirt and shorts. It was quite and was freezing cold up there,only the squeaking and buzzing of some insects could be heard, full moon and sky full of stars. His back was facing her, he was their in a hope of finding some peace which was impossible for him to find from the past one week. She stood beside him, keeping the plate aside on the cemented wall and noticed his moist eyes shinning with the help of the moon light. Seeing him like that felt like someone has stabbed her million times because it was almost impossible to make this though man cry.

Sidharth - Shehnaaz.... Mere jaan tu soye ny abhi tak? (His face lit up seeing her there) I'm sorry sweetheart (He held her hands) Mere se baat kar please.... I know mere ko teri baat sunni chahiye thi but I got insecure thinking you'll leave me again.... Even the thought of you leaving kills me from the inside..... (He cupped her face in his palms) I'm sorry please, I really am.... I thought we'll spend sometime together but jab tujhe waha Dr. Mallik ke sath dekha toh I felt really bad, mujhe samjh mei he ny aaya mai kya kar karte gaya gusse mei.... Uske baad bhi maine 3 din tak tere se baat ny ke and I regret everything that I did with you.... (He sighed) Sorry please? (It came out almost as a whisper)

Shehnaaz was on the verge of crying, she took a deep breath to control it and started speaking.

Shehnaaz - Tujhe Kyu aisa lagta hae Sidharth ke mai tujhe chor dungi? Jab 5 saal alag rehne ke baad bhi ny chor sake toh ab Kyu choru ge? Tuni meri baat tak ny suni uss din.... (she spoke showing that she admonished his behaviour) Mai tujhe call karne wali thi Dr. Mallik ko orphanage dekhna tha toh mai unko ek orphanage le gae thi jaha mai regularly jati hu.... Bas aur kuch bhi ny tha mai phir tere pass he aa rahi thi.... (She started sobbing) tuni mujhe kitna bura bura bola.

Sidharth - Meri jaan mat roo please...Mai bola na I'm sorry... Please mat roo. (He pulled her caging her in his arms)

Shehnaaz - Pehle promise Kar mere sath pyar se rahe ga?

Sidharth - Ofcourse baby, Kabhi ny ladu ga (He chuckled)

Shehnaaz didn't wanted to spoil their cute little patch up scene by bringing up Sunidhi in between so she dropped the idea of talking about her and remembered her bebu has not yet had his dinner. She broke the hug and had a an angry pout face which was glaring at Sidharth.

Shehnaaz - Bebu tuni khana Kyu ny khaya?

Sidharth - Bhukh ny thi baby dekha ny tuni kaise teri chachi ne aur aunty ne mil Kar kitna khilaya mujhe? (He scoffed) By God I thought I'll burst out any moment.

Shehnaaz giggled.

Shehnaaz - Par vo toh Unka Pyar tha Sidharth, aadat dal le ab iska.... Aage jab bhi tu iss ghar ka daamad bane ga na tab toh teri isse double khatirdari hogi.

Sidharth - Acha..... (She snaked his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him, smirking at her) Matlab tuni waha tak ka soch liya hae..... Sahi hae.

Shehnaaz being equally naughty placed her arms around his neck and was smiling shyly.

Shehnaaz - mera gadhu bachu (She cooed) maine toh usse bhi aage ka soch liya hae.

With that she smashed her lips on his making him believe that she was only his and was going nowhere. Her hands rubbing the nape of his neck. He pulled her closer deepening the kiss showing how much he loves her, wants her and craves for her. The sound of insects had faded away the surrounding felt so quiet as they were so engrossed into each other only the soft moans of her could be heard in between the kiss. "Mai tere he sath hu hamesha I promise" she said looking into his eyes, her face was glowing in the moon light making her look 10 times prettier. "I know meri jaan, I love you" he replied while admiring her beautiful face and caressing her cheeks lovingly. Then he squeezed her tightly in his arms as if his life depended on it, while she was feeling the warmth and the sense of protectiveness in his embrace.

Shehnaaz - Gadhu bachu mere saasn ny aa rahe.....

(Sidharth chuckled loosening the hug)

Shehnaaz - Kullu.....chal abhi khana kha le (She said in her baby voice taking the plate in her hands)

Sidharth - Baby bilkul mann ny hae yaar (He whined)

Shehnaaz - Mai khelao ge toh khae ga  thora sa?

Sidharth - Acha thik hae thora sa kha lunga.

Shehnaaz smiled sheepishly and started feeding him.

Sidharth - Ek baat bata yeh Sab Kya hae? Yhe lakdiya Kyu rakhi hae itne saari yaha par? (He pointed towards the pile of dry twigs and branches kept outside in the lawn area somewhere in a corner which was slightly visible from the rooftop)

Shehnaaz - Vo toh kal Lohri hae na Isliye. Pata hae tujhe har saal itna maza aata hae yaha par mai toh bachpan mei har saal aa jati thi iss time par yaha celebrate karne Sab ke sath..... Uske baad bech mei aana chor diya tha par luckily iss saal aa gae mai aur dekh tu bhi sath hae mere.

Sidharth - Wow matlab kal maza aane wala hae?

Shehnaaz - Tu soch bhi ny sakta utna maza aaye ga.

Sidharth - Okay then I'm excited for tomorrow.

Shehnaaz - Par tu Pammi se dur rahe ga.... Kitna chipak kar baat Kar rahi thi.... Uss pagal ko toh pata he ny ke tu jiju hae uska .... Mera toh aaj demag kharab ho gaya tha.... Aise vo helpless feel karne lag padi thi ke tujhe kaise sabke saamne apne sath le jao usse dur.

Sidharth - I swear Shehnaaz mai khud irritate ho gaya tha, kitne irritating hae vo yaar (He scoffed)

Shehnaaz - (she giggled)  Koi ny 2 din jhel le phir hum wapes chale ge...... Mummy yahi par rahe ge aur papa toh business ke chakkar mei Bangalore gae hae. (She grins)

Sidharth - Baby tere irade ache ny lag rahe mujhe (He smirks grabbing the wrist when she was going to feed and pulled her closer to him)

Shehnaaz - Bakwas mat Kar chup karke kha jaldi se  (she whined hitting his arms)
Sidharth - Baby tu aaj mere pass he sona aaj please.

Shehnaaz - Baby tu Pagal hae? Yeh Goa ghumne ny aaye hum ke koi ny hae yaha par...... mera pura parivar hae Kisi ne dekh liya na toh soch le phir.

Sidharth - Toh mujhe darr pade hae Kise se? Tu bas mere sath soye ge mujhe ny pata kuch.

Shehnaaz laughed seeing his scrunched up face sulking over a stupid thing.

They were back on track and stronger than before. Shehnaaz slept with him that night in his arms and in the morning sneaked back to her room. Both were happy. Shehnaaz knew this Sunidhi chapter needs to end soon and she'll end it once they go back.
