Depression
WHAT iS DEPRESSION?
Depression is a mood disorder that causes sadness , lost of interest and it affects how you feel, think and behave and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems.Depression is never just depression or just being sad .
It always will have other things pile up on it to make you feel even more terrible that leads you to do things that will hurt yourself and cause other problems for you.Like drinking which will lead you to be an alcoholic .
Like drugs which will lead you to be a drug addict.
Like cutting which will lead you to be suicidal.It have so many other forms in what depression leads you to.
But most of all it leads you to be unhappy and miserable .Some people hide depression with a smile some hide it with a frown .
Some people smile because they hate to hear "are you ok" all the time ,they just want to seem fine to everyone else but behind close doors is where they go to their room and the smile drops and that's when their true
Feelings is revealed.Some people frown because they rather have people not approach them to ask "are you ok" at all . They feel why must i smile if i don't have anything to smile about ,so they rather frown and have everyone back away from their life.
Depression isn't just a disorder
Its a poison a deadly one.
Which kills you slowly ,
Makes you go crazy ,
That will have you just wanting to end it all .Which will have you being sad,
Having you being so lonely and distant .
Like the type of lonely where you in your bed in the dark watching the roof kind of lonely .
Where you have to cover your mouth because you crying uncontrollable type of pain too .Its like the pain don't want to stop
Like you cant breathe ,then you start to panic which will lead to an anxiety attack.So no depression isn't just being sad its more than that and its not easy to just stop feeling like that . Its a working process .
So when you see somebody depressed don't just say oh put a smile on your face , that just making them hide their pain away . Instead you should make them smile as in making a joke or so not forcing them to be happy just for your conscience to feel right .
Instead of saying stop acting like that stop being sad .
LISTEN Carefully,
The people that suffer from depression can't help for feeling like that . If you want to change them from feeling like that you have to be the one to be motivational and be a shoulder to lean on or an ear to listen when they ready to voice out their thoughts .Don't just think depression is easy because you don't have it or because you don't understand it . Because its not .
Be open minded instead of being judgemental.
Maybe then would you be able to grasp what that person is actually going through.~V thoughts ~
