Chapter 9: A Group Name

When we last left, the group of survivors had acquired a new member. A child catgirl named Dulce. Dulce was different from the rest of the catgirls. She didn't show any signs of violence or aggression. This is because she was raised by a human family, Dulce was taught to not harm humans. The humans that found her as a stray from her pack took her in and raised it.

    Charles: Hmm this won't do. No sir it won't.

    Magi: What is it Chars? What won't do?

    Charles: Our group, it's gotten bigger so I think we are going to need a name. Any suggestions?

A name for the group wasn't necessary but Charles did his best to find ways to entertain the group. Especially now that they had 2 kids to look after. One human and one catgirl, but kids nonetheless. Amy recognized this and began to help.

    Amy: How about the Amazing Quadro?

    Charles: Damn it Amy, we need a cool name, not a dumb one.

The girls laughed, of course, Charles did not mean to call Amy dumb. But it was just such a silly suggestion that it slipped out.

    Magi: Is Candy Eaters cool Charles?

    Charles: Yes Maggie. *patting her head* The name Candy Eaters is very cool.

    Dulce: Fish.

Dulce in her soft voice gave a suggestion. Her answer was so soft that Charles had to ask her to repeat it. "Fish," Charles asked. Dulce just nodded her head in confirmation.

    Charles: Okay let me think about, *pretends to think hard and then snap his finger* I got it! We will be known as... The Candy Amazing Fish Eaters! Or The CAFE for short.

Amy: Wait, doesn't cafe mean coffee or something.

Magi: It's awesome! I love it!

Magi was happy with the name and Dulce gave a small smile. She was happy that Charles used her idea in the group name. And so now the group was official. The Candy Amazing Fish Eaters were ready to overcome whatever obstacles and challenges stood in their path.
