Ep 27: Crucial

I keep on running. My heart has only been wishing that Jung Soo still survives and lives. I am going to help him. Please please please please please.... please stay alive for me.

I reached the place once again. This time before entering, I take a good look at the outside. It seems like a huge warehouse. But inside it seems like an iron factory. Maybe an abandoned one. I try to look at other clues so when I get the chance to call someone, I can let them know exactly where this place is. There is not much going on besides there's a lot of bushes around here. It's not exactly in a forest, but somehow secluded. There are two cars outside. Probably belongs to the lady and her guards. I try to get close to one of the cars. The black one seems to be locked, so I move to the second car. Locked as well. I need to get inside. There's no other way. But how and from where? I can't just go bang the door. Not when I'm especially low in energy and strength. I need a backup plan as well. But in this short time, all those seem impossible. I look up to the roof. Maybe there'll be some opening. I need rope! Oh yeah, there's some INSIDE the warehouse. I probably won't find any of them outside. I don't waste time finding a way for me to get to the roof. There are some holes on the old wall, thus giving me support to find my way up.

 I try to jump on the window's waterfall-shaped awning. Too short! I fall right back on the ground. I need more height. This will take a longer time, so I decided to wing this and try prowling through the back door that I used to escape just now. If it's up to me, I would like to just hurtle through everything, grab Jung Soo and walk away like nothing ever happened. Again, the risk is too huge, I can't let my guard down.

Sneaking inside at night, giving advantage as I can see them from outside without them noticing me from inside. I can see Jung Soo was tied back to his original position. Probably being knocked out already. I can't see the lady. She probably is somewhere on the stairs or second floor. I can't just rush to get Jung Soo, so I keep my eyes fixed on the two guards. I already grabbed one metal stick with me. It seems strong enough to give someone a good bump on the head, as well as knocking out people for a moment. When the two guards come closer to my hiding place, I move backward a bit, before rushing to knock them both down with the metal stick. Both of them seem to not be expecting me to come back, thus their surprised reaction gives advantages for me to attack swiftly.

Once they are both being knocked out, I walk inside, moving slowly towards Jung Soo. Once I was sure we were safe, I quickly untied him again. This time he is totally unconscious. His body is really weak. I can see blood rushing out from his body. I start to panic.

"Jung Soo...Jung Soo ya...wake up!" I cried.

No response. I feel like losing my breath. Trying to force myself to be strong, I lift him up and drag his body slowly towards the stairs. Suddenly...

"You are not going anywhere, little princess."

That voice!

I stop my motion. What does she want? Had she enjoyed herself enough of torturing us?

"You can try to run, honey...but we will always find you again. And again. And again."

She lets go of a scary laugh, it almost sounds as if a ghost is laughing.

"Is there even a need for you to do this to us?! I will never understand your system! This is barbaric and cruel! Human, is not for you to exploit! How would you feel if your sister is being treated like this?!"

"Oh I don't need to see and feel how it looks. I torture my own sister years ago. Guess what? She's safely died. You wanna meet her? She's in the grave!"

She starts laughing again. This woman has totally gone mad!

"Look...I tell you...I can make up for your loss. Take me. I am more valuable than all of the lives of your artists. Just let them all go. They had enough torture as it is," I try to negotiate with her again.
