Ep 5: What is happening?

I can't sleep tonight. I keep changing my position as I close my eyes. GD's sudden text is still a mystery. Suddenly I got a call from an unknown number. I am hesitating to pick it, but I figure I need to since it can be anyone that I know.

"Hello?"

"Stella ya. Listen carefully. This is Ji Yong. Are you home?"

"Yeah. Why? Wait what's with another number? Where are you? What's going on?"

"No time to explain. Listen, I will call you from different number everytime. Same with any text messages. Just read. Don't reply," he said in hurry.

"Wait! Before that, I want to know what is this all about? Yoon told that I have something that's why they won't kill me. What is that thing?" I ask straight away knowing that we don't have much time. Plus, I was already preparing to ask about that since this evening.

"Yoon told you? Ya! What did he say? This guy really..."

"No, it's not because of what he said, it's because of what you guys are keeping out from me. Tell me, you guys know something don't you?" I become stricter.

"I'm sorry, you have to figure out that on yourself. I don't have time to explain. Just follow my instructions when you reach America next week. Make sure you managed to escape. And don't worry about the 20 life's that you are holding. They won't be able to do anything to anyone. We already figured the plan thoroughly."

"Wait, do you even know who the 20 people are?" I ask him.

"I don't. But I put my bet on your SM group that you handled before. Along with your family," he said in one breath.

I got to admit, his analyzing skills are too great. I did not mention anything, but yet he managed to figure out everything.

"What if you are wrong? What if those people are someone else?" I try to poke his wit.

Silence.

"I don't have time to do guess. If I'm wrong, then tell me who they are so I can save them too. And we don't have much time. Tell me! Hurry!"

"Okay, okay. You are right. It is them. But I think in this case it is better that you talk to them, so you guys can figure out a way out," I finally able to talk what I've been wanting to said to all of them. To meet and discuss the plan together.

"I will. For now, just remember to follow my instructions," he said.

"You will need their numbers. Here is..."

"No time. Gotta go. Will send you the instructions later," he hangs up.

Oh wow. What a great conversation we had. I am lucky I always keep the anti-tracking and anti-spying device with me so my conversation with him was never been recorded nor did it being leaked to another party.

That night, I feel like I can't sleep because I'm worried about the escape plan GD has for me. What if it fails? What if his life is on the line as an exchange for releasing me? Everything has becoming too tensed.

I realized I woke up with unfamiliar surroundings. I have no memories of this place. My head has been aching non-stop since I opened my eyes. I try to put my hand on my head, by then realized all the wires and needles inserted into my hand.

"Yeap, she's up. Come on."

I vaguely hear the voice coming from one side. The footsteps are coming closer and closer. I try to lift my head up to see whom does the footsteps belongs to but fail. I guess my head is still not recognizing anything and my vision is still unclear to long distance objects.
