I took the chair on my right and quickly hit his head. I also aimed at his genitals and quickly my reflex told me to hit it. And I did!
Okay now THAT would do it!
I don't waste time running upstairs to get Jung Soo and Jay Park. The ache on my head starts to kick in. I ignore them for now. They both need to get out now! I reach out for them in no time. They both are being tied tightly my small hand can barely reach the main knot to undone them. My mouth starts calling for their name.
"Jung Soo ya. Jung Soo come on, stay with me. Jay Park, are you okay?" I don't take a good look on either of them, but I know blood is everywhere.
"You guys-"
I continue while untangling all the ropes and chains.
"-need to stay alive."
The ropes and chains are all now being unleashed. Jung Soo collapses and I catch him just in time and both of us are pratfalling on the metal floor. Jay Park seems to be unconscious as well, but I don't have time to catch him as well, so he kind of falls flat on his stomach. I hope he doesn't hurt his face though.
"Jung Soo, come on! Look at me, you are okay, alright? I'm here. We need to get out now!" I shake his body, trying to wake him up.
"Urgh..."
He's too weak. I don't know what happened but both of them are too weak to get out by themselves. I don't know how to even escape with both of them. I need at least one of them to wake up and bring the other out while I delay those people from getting near them.
"Jung Soo, please...I don't want to lose you. Please stay alive for me," I don't realize when my eyes let go of those crystals rolling down my cheek.
He tries to look at me with his bleeding face. His hand is tight on my shoulder. Another is trying to support his body from collapsing on the ground.
"You..."
I put my ears closer as he's trying to convey something to me.
"Bring Jay out of here now. I will be fine," he looks at me with teary eyes as well.
I feel the urgency to save him more and more. I don't know what just came at me, but I can feel like the train is about to leave with me not boarding in it. Like I will miss it.
"Jung Soo...please come with me. You know I can't do this alone," I pretty much begged for him to come.
He pushes me away. I can only wail softly while helping Jay Park to get up. He looks really beaten up as well, even more than Jung Soo. I don't wait any longer to go down the stairs, but the guards are both now waiting for us. Then...
I don't know how or when, but I can hear Jung Soo hurtle pass me towards both of the guards. He shouts something at me, but all I am feeling is the world is now moving slowly. My pace towards the exit is as if I am walking on air. I don't feel anything. I just need to go out, I know. But why do I feel like half of my soul is being taken from me? Why do I feel like I am now half dead? Somehow, I managed to get myself and Jay Park outside through the back door.
It's already night. Ji Yong probably just finished his concert. The last thing I wish is for him to look for me. I hope he just goes to the after party, getting drunk, and goes back home to sleep. He doesn't need to know what happened to me. I don't want another person jumping into the fire just to save me. We walked quite far from the place we were held as hostage. I never once look back. We need to get away from there, as far as we can.
I put Jay Park on the sidewalk. It's quite hidden from the place we were just at. We don't have a choice but to call some help. I don't think the police will help us, so I keep thinking of Mr. Jung. I look at Jay Park and ask just in case if he has a phone with him. He shook his head slowly. Of course! I should have guessed. They won't let any of us bring a phone, or even if we have one, there's no way to keep it. They must already confiscate our belongings earlier. I don't even know what to do. We are lost in nowhere, with no connections with anyone. The only way is for me to get back there and try to steal their phones secretly.
