Ep 15: Discovering Truth (Part 2)

They didn't actually carry out their malicious plan until the president's son let go of his last breath in this world. The president's son by that time had so much affection towards Alexandra that he even went to meet her when he was totally unable to move around and only getting help by his guards to bring him to meet her. Mr. Park, meanwhile, already being convinced by his wife that Alexandra can give their daughter the perfect life that they ever wanted. Although they want to take the kid as their own, they can't deny the fact that Ae Shin is still their biological daughter, and they still love her more than Alexandra. Alexandra's being mortal is also a problem as people will soon know about the fact that the girl will never get old once she reaches her last matured adulthood. This fact was already being confirmed by the president's son himself after a several tests on Alexandra. The president's son tried his best to not hurt Alexandra as he loves her more than his own life. All the test was done as quickly and was with the less hurt procedures as much as they can. There are still a lot of research that was in process when the president's son starts getting unwell. He was just about to reach mid forty when he was diagnosed with cancer. He fought hard to live, and for Alexandra, as he wants the girl to not be scared of herself when she finally realized that she is different from normal people. He never treats her as stranger. In fact, all her abilities were praised by him and he kept telling her that she is one of a kind, a special person in this entire universe. Alexandra at that time already has think of him like her own father. Although she lives with Park's family, she can sense the only person who genuinely love her was president's son, so she loves him more than any other person in this whole world. The president's son finally left this world that one night after fighting for so long. For Alexandra, it was the hardest moment in her life. She keeps crying all the way to the burial site. Even after the burial ceremony was done, she keeps on crying. This was the very first time she cried not because she was hurt physically, but because she was hurt deeply inside her heart. It was her emotions, truly felt towards him.

That night, right after the president's son was buried, Park's family planned their intention to exchange Alexandra's organs, most of them, with Ae Shin's. This was planned along with their personal family doctor. They didn't care that Alexandra just lost her only true father in this world, or that she still need time to finally move on. All they care is to carry on the procedure as fast as they can. The equipment was all brought to the glory house. If this was a horror scene, it would be like of those medical horror where the evil doctor tries to operate on normal human beings just to torture them till death. Ae Shin at that time was also only a kid, so she doesn't know about what she's about to go through. She just about to went through the normal life by leaving her incubator five to six hour per day, and still having some improvement. However, her improvement doesn't seem like a perfect healthy sign from her parents. They just couldn't wait any longer. They want to quickly send her to school, so no one can notice that they ever have flaws in their offspring. They want everything to be perfect.

Both Alexandra and Ae Shin was drugged so they won't know the difference when they wake up. The doctor starts his first operation on them by switching the girls' liver. The upcoming surgeries would involve heart, kidneys, eyes, and lungs. The parents wanted to go as far as skin and bones, but since that would take way too much time, and the fact that both girls won't be able to survive in that long surgery, they stop their intentions on that. The whole surgeries could have risked their own kid's life, but they still wanted to do it. The doctor himself told them to do it stages by stages, which mean after one switching, they need to wait and see if both are still able to live without complications in their systems before deciding to continue switching. Amazingly both girls live their lives fine after the first surgery, so they proceed until the last organ was switched. The parents give extra care on Ae Shin, but left Alexandra alone even after the whole process of stealing her organs. Lucky for her, since she has the strong antibiotic, they help her skin recover from the scars of the medical wounds, but since her organs were replaced, she couldn't stand the pain caused by the organs malfunction. This caused her to keep fainting or having difficulties in breathing. She also sometimes suffers from abnormal heart beating that can caused her heart to stop beatings for a while, which can probably cause in her death. Weirdly, since her antibodies are strong, the nerves receptor inside her brains somehow trying to prevent the signal firing to warn her about her body being hurt. It was as if they want her to not feel pain, even if she had a heart attack and die at the scene. Every time any organs inside her had malfunctions, she will just collapse to the ground without even she knows. Sadly, until someone finds her lying on the ground, she will keep being there, counting time when her heart will stop beating. Ae Shin during that time, recovers quite fast, thanks to the new organs she gets. As she finds out Alexandra is living with her, she becomes happier as she finally has a friend to spend her time with. She usually never leaves Alexandra's side until her parents come home from work. Then she'll go with them, leaving the poor girl behind. But she still remembers to share her food and toys with Alexandra as they become really close with each other over time. After the final surgery on the eyes, Alexandra didn't seem to able to wake up as easily as before. She had asthma coming, her heart stop beatings for few seconds, it was as if she's really leaving this world at that time. The doctor tried his best to save Alexandra from dying, as he himself have a bad intention to study for Alexandra body composition and try to make use of her bloods so he can gain names in medical field. They decided to keep her inside the incubator like what they did to Ae Shin. Park's family agreed to support the research as the doctor already threaten them to spill the beans if they ever stop funding his own personal research.
