Once the intro had stopped playing, today's news anchor walked up to the desk.
"Good evening and salutation from from us here at Toon Cable News!" Gary Godspeed announced. "For tonight's news story, we... uh. Huh?"
Gary flipped through all his papers only to find they were all blank.
"There's nothing on my script." He said.
"Nothing on the teleprompters either." Little Cato added.
"Yeah, things have been really slow lately. Not much is going on in the Tooniverse right now." Avocato explained
"I concur." Quinn agreed over his earpiece. "Not much is happening."
"Are you saying we set this entire thing up for nothing?" Ash said.
"Aw, I was so excited for this." Mooncake sighed in disappointment.
In response, Gary pet him on the head to comfort him.
"Well, on the bright side, no one's getting hurt." Gary pointed out.
Suddenly, Ash was scared by a mouse, causing her telekinesis to activate. That caused the monitor behind Little Cato to be ripped from the wall and crush him. Everyone in the studio stared awkwardly before Gary cleared his throat.
"Uh... this just in, the weatherman has just been crushed by the monitor... again." He reported.
They then worked together to lift the shattered screen off the injured Ventrexian.
"How are we even able to replace these screens?" He groaned. "And fix everything that goes on here?"
"Trust me, no one knows." Gary said.
