"Have I told you how beautiful you look today?" Luke mused, sending Kassi a dazzling smile.
She blushed before pulling off the snap back on his head and smoothed out his hat hair.
"Have I told you how sexy your hair looks pushed back?" She quipped, laughing at herself.
Retrieving his hat, Luke's eyes widened at Kassi's lame Mean Girls reference. "How'd you know that was my favorite movie?"
"I didn't," she snorted. "But now that I do, are you gonna try to make fetch happen?"
Luke groaned. "Don't start with me."
Kassi laughed at this new found information and interlocked their hands, guiding them both towards a vinyl record stand.
As they made their way over, Kassi spotted Alyssa and Calum in the crowd not too far away, laughing. Kassi grinned as she watched Alyssa feed Calum popcorn; him kissing her fingertips once it was in his mouth.
Kassi sighed, drawing Luke's attention. "As much as I want Calum to bring Lys out to Australia, I don't think I'll be able to handle how sickeningly adorable they are once we're all together."
Luke followed Kassi's eyes and snorted. "I'm sure we can do worse," he challenged, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.
"We can test that theory another time," Kassi laughed while he groaned. "How is Calum going to ask her anyway? You haven't given me all the details."
"Now that part is going to have to be a surprise for you also," Luke replied, smirking as he scanned the Metallica records.
Kassi let out a noise of protest. "What? But I was already in on everything, you can't just do that!" She complained, shoving his arm slightly.
Luke only chuckled, wrapping an arm around her shoulders as he brought her closer to his side.
"You'll enjoy it, okay? Don't worry babe," he assured her before planting a kiss on her head.
Kassi let out a "humph" and nodded, checking the time on her phone. "Oh hey, we should probably get to the stage, the show's going to start pretty soon."
"Let's get you to Alyssa first so you have someone to sit with," Luke told her while grabbing her hand.
"Wait, what?" Kassi asked, startled. "But won't you be..." She tried, but Luke didn't answer her and instead, called out to Calum, who was already walking in their direction with a panting Alyssa behind him.
"There you guys are!" Calum exclaimed as Alyssa ran up to hug Kassi. "Luke, we have to go!"
Luke nodded in acknowledgement before turning to Kassi, who was eyeing him expectantly.
"Where's Ash and Mikey?" Alyssa questioned out loud but instead of being given an answer, a kiss on the lips from Calum took its place and she gasped.
"Babe, we have to go," he said to her as he tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. "I'll see you soon, okay? Just find a spot with Kassi and make sure you're close."
"But where are you going?" Alyssa asked, pouting. She glanced over at Kassi for help, but even she was clueless.
"You'll find out soon enough," Luke ensured with a smile before giving Kassi a kiss as well. "Calum, let's go!"
And with that, both girls watched as the boys disappeared in the crowd, leaving them to follow orders and head for the stage.
They noticed others starting for the stage also and followed suit, speeding up a bit so they were able to get good spots near the stage like Calum and Luke had instructed. Linking arms in order to prevent separation, Kassi and Alyssa landed a spot on the grass a few rows away from the stage.
