I woke up to Hope crying, I crawled into her bed as grandma Mary came in, Hope said "I had a bad dream" grandma said "its ok, it was just dream, im not going anywhere" once she laid down I went to move but her hand clasped mine so I simply crawled under her blanket and cuddled to her as well fell back to sleep. The next morning I said "grams when is mom getting back?" I dressed in this.

Grandma Mary came in to brush our hair, we can do it but she gets the knots out better. She said "your mom is here with some people for you to meet" I said "do we have to?" as Hope said "who?" I heard mom call in "Yes Harmony you have to" I sighed and stuck a beanie on my head before following Grams and Hope to the living room where two girls and three boys were standing with mom, Hope immediately hid behind me causing me to role my eyes at my sister. I laid my board against the wall as mom gestured us over, I grabbed Hope's hand and we walked to mom who put her hands on our shoulders and said "girls these are your aunts Rebecca and Freya, Your uncles Kol and Elijah, and finally your father Klaus. Guys these are Harmony and Hope" I looked at Hope and she stared at me.

I didn't believe this so I went to push them away but Hope sensed it and grabbed my wrist, I ignored her and flicked my other wrist making all of them fly into the walls. I pulled Hope behind me as mom said "Harmony Elizabeth!" they all stood up and stared at me, mom said "guys I'm sorry, she doesn't trust easily and as you can see doesn't listen either" grams grabbed my wrist and wrapped that damn bracelet around, trapping my magic. Mom said "Apologize now" I sighed and said "I'm sorry"

Hope got in front of me and slowly walked to the group, she kept looking back at me every few steps. She looked at mom who was next to the group and said "mom can Harm and I go to the garden?" mom sighed and said "yes girls, go" Hope grabbed my hand as I grabbed my board and we ran outside. She started painting while I practiced a few tricks on my board. After awhile Hope said "come sit with me please?" I agreed and set the board next to her and sat on it. She said "hey Harm, how come you threw them against the wall?" I said "Hope we don't know these people, mom seems to trust them, but I mean... something doesn't feel right Hope." She went to say something but I gave her a shut up look then looked behind us. Klaus was walking up to us, he said "thats lovely" he sat next to us and Hope said "mom said you like to paint too." he said "I do, very much" she handed him a paper so he started painting with her.

He said "Harmony do you paint as well?" I said "I do not, I didn't get that gene" he smiled at us and said "so what do you like to do then?" I smiled and said "I love to skate, write, and sing" she smiled at us and when they finished painting he said "want to talk a walk girls?" Hope smiled and stood up holding her hand to me expectantly. I sighed while smiling at my older sister and grabbed her hand letting her pull me up. Klaus grabbed our hands and we started walking, he said "so Harmony, your mom tells me you get into trouble a lot?"

I said "mom doesn't understand me, and it's no secret Hope is her favorite." Hope said "I am not" I said "ok sure" Klaus said "come on now sweetheart your mom loves you both equally." I sighed and said "lets change the subject," Hope said "How did you grow up dad?" He said "I painted on animal skins, mostly. Bark, cave walls..." Hope said "You lived in a cave?" he smiled and said "I lived in a hovel, all of us crowded into two rooms. It was actually nicer than it sounds. Though your Uncle Kol snored. Loudly, I might add." I said "I bet it was cool, always having other kids to play with." He said "you have Hope, but It was cool, actually. However, I still felt alone. Different from my siblings. For one thing, I loved art. I used to make my own paints from flowers and berries. These orange ones are the most vibrant."
