Memories of the past

We went to the parlor and hear Kol say "If Nik's time is up then I guess I didn't want to miss my chance to bitch and moan, because he is a tremendous ass." Klaus said "That he is." Kol turned around we walked toward them and Klaus said "But he also secretly adores his youngest brother." Klaus pulled Kol into a hug making Kol smile, Klaus said "Don't stop on my account, I this is to be my funeral then let's get on with it." Kol pulled me into a hug and I said "Hey Uncle Kol." Kol said "You guys may know her, but she doesn't truly know you so why don't we make her family?" everyone smiled and Klaus said "Well, all right, siblings this is me, Hayley, Ric, and Caroline's daughter Harmony. Harmony this your uncle Elijah, aunt Rebekah, aunt Freya, aunt Keelin, and your older brother Marcel and you know your uncle Kol."

We all laughed as everyone took turns giving me a hug, we had a family dinner, I sat between Hope and Kol and I watched as everyone talked and laughed about the past. I didn't know any of the stories cause I didn't grow up around them. Kol looked down at me and I forced a smile, I felt out of place here and I think he noticed. Kol whispered "You ok Fire-starter?" I whispered "Yeah." Bekah said "Fire-starter?" I said "It's not what you think, I never started an actual fire." Keelin said "So what happened for you to get that nickname?" I glanced at Klaus and said "Ill uh tell you later." Klaus said "Why not now?" I said "Simply because I don't want to deal with you getting all mad anyway Davina came up with the name." Elijah said "Why would Niklaus get mad?" I looked at Kol who said "Because she is his daughter and she was only 10." 

Hope said "Wait you were telling the truth?" I said "Yeah and it was an accident Hope." Kol said "How about you sing?" he effectively distracted everyone as they all agreed. Klaus said "Great idea, I haven't heard you sing since you were seven." I said "That's because y- thats because I only sang to Davina and Kol, because you can't say no to an aunt and uncle who lets you do whatever you want." Klaus said "Yes well, here you go dear." He handed me a microphone and I moved my chair back from the table as Kol handed me a guitar and a microphone stand. I said "Ok so I don't sing in front of people so no judging me when its bad." Kol said "Shut up, your an amazing singer." 

I smiled at him and said "Choose a song Uncle K." he thought for a second and said "Alright how about Davina's favorite?" I smiled and said "Ok this is Unwritten."

Once I finished everyone clapped and I said "Thank you." Klaus said "Any about family?" I said "I have one but it was written when I was 10, when I felt abandoned and so it's not a very happy song. I didn't call Caroline and Ric my parents then, so trust me you don't want to hear it. How about another topic?" Kol said "Your song for Hope?" Hope gasped and said "Im sorry what?" I said "Its about us being twins." Klaus smiled and said "Let us hear it." I said "Ok This is called count me in." 

Once I finished I opened my eyes to see Hope crying, I pulled her into a hug as she said "I love you too Harm!" Kol took my guitar as I embraced my sister, we sat back down and Klaus said "Thank you love that was amazing, can we know the story now?" I groaned as everyone laughed Kol said "Its not a funny story, in fact it shouldn't have happened." Klaus said "You said she was ten, is it bad?" Hope said "Yeah, she came back and told our group and it was pretty bad." I said "I did not physically start the fire, but I did kinda accidentally cause a fire to happen and burn down uncle Kol's house." Bekah said "Oh this I have to hear." Kol said "Nik you must swear not to attack me for keeping it secret or yell at her for doing it." Klaus said "You have my word." I sighed and "You have to understand, I was acting out, I wanted you both to give me attention, to notice me, I felt abandoned it had been three years since I saw you or mom and I was all alone. but I do not condone my actions." so I told the tale.
