Saving Hope Part 1

We got to the library and I sat on the table as Caroline said "Maybe because you are older than the girls." Ric walked in and Caroline took his crossbow as she said "Im confiscating this forever." making him say "Fine, its only for the security of the school but thats a thing of the past since your inviting Voldemort to campus! Butterfly you are here not because your in trouble but because you are old enough to understand what happens with this school, the girls are not." Caroline said "Ric we started this school to protect these kids Hope is one of them and she's in trouble, we cant just turn our back on her. Not to mention she is the older twin sister to Harmony!" 

Ric shook his head and said "Don't bring our daughter into this, he still clouds your judgement." she put the crossbow down on the table next to me and said "What are you talking about?" Ric said "I am talking about Klaus Mikaelson. The cockroach of a creature who has roamed this earth and can never be stamped out ever and you just want to give him more evil power?" Caroline crossed her arms and they both glanced at me as Ric sighed then said "Caroline I... I know your intentions are good and I want to help Hope, of course I do but we can't call another witch? Use one of the teachers? Bonnie?" 

Caroline said "This isn't something Bonnie can do, our girls can and then you can pop a bottle of champaign and watch him sink to the bottom of the ocean." Ric said "And how many times have we tried to sink him to the bottom of the ocean?" I giggled and said "Wait aunt Bonnie wasn't exaggerating?" Caroline said "Yes Butterfly, we have tried to get rid of him multiple times, but I'm glad we failed because now we have you. As for aunt Bonnie... she needs to stop telling you three stories. He's a willing participant this time." Ric said "Alright fine, let's just pretend for one insane moment that you have reason enough to believe that that's true now. You think that's gonna stick? The ocean isn't big enough to hold him down Care!" 

We heard a loud noise making us turn towards the door, Caroline said "Oh no." she grabbed my hand pulling me to her side as Ric grabbed his crossbow. Klaus zipped in holding the wooden arrow and said "Very impressive system, secure I'm sure, if your a baby werewolf navigating puberty." He threw the arrow down making Care pull me closer to her, Klaus said "But I'm a little past that." Caroline said "Klaus." Klaus said "Alaric's right, the ocean won't hold me, but when I transfer the hollow's magic out of Hope I don't plan on drowning it." He pulled out a stake and Caroline stepped forward pulling me with her she said "What is that?" he walked toward us as he said "This is the last remaining white oak stake." Ric pulled me behind him and to his other side, away from Klaus who walked up to Caroline.

Klaus said "When the power is in me, there is only one way to know it's gone for good... Someone needs to kill me." I said "Isn't that a little dramatic? What about Hope? She already lost Hayley, losing you will destroy her." a knock happened on the door and Dorian came in saying "We have a situation." Ric said "Im coming." he kissed my head and said "Be careful and stay with your mom." I said "Ok I will, I promise." he walked out following Dorian, Caroline, Klaus, and I went to the abandoned building. Klaus came on the balcony with me and Caroline and said "Its fine, a bit dusty but..." Caroline said "Well the previous owner died a decade ago so...You know he chose not to warn me before sacrificing his life either." Klaus said "Caroline." 

She said "Don't, Why didn't you tell me the truth? Did you think I wouldn't let you go through with it?" Klaus said "Perhaps I didn't want to know either way." I said "Where do you even get a white oak stake?" Klaus said "It was decades ago, I was gonna destroy it but the weight of immortality was heaver then." Caroline said "Maybe we could buy you some time." Klaus said "The magic in Hope is routed too deeply. Tonight when she's trapped in that space between human and beast thats when your daughters can remove it from her." Caroline said "Are you sure there is no other way?" Klaus said "There's always another way, somewhere written in some forgotten language in some city lost in lava lies buried the secret to everything I want all at once... but I'm not gonna find it today and today is all I have, Hope will eventually move on because doing this gives her life to be able to move on and forgive me. Im not worried about you Harmony because your life isn't in danger and Caroline and Ric have done a fine job raising you and I know they will continue to love and protect you forever."

Caroline said "Im going to convince Ric to let our girls help you out with this because you are being a good father, you are being a good person and how could I tell you not to do that when thats all that I have ever.... This would be so much easier if you just stayed the big bad wolf... Just wait here." she pushed me gently to start walking and I went to hang out with Jason, we were in mid make-out session when Elijah ran in and said "Go to the abandoned building, Hope isn't breathing." I gasped and Jason vamp sped me there and we kneeled next to Hope and Klaus who was doing CPR on her. I said "Hope listen to me, I realize we don't get along but we are sisters, twins and you need to come back. One day we will get along just please come back to me, your my big sister and I may not say it but I need you." she gasped away and pulled me into a hug and Klaus pulled us both to him and she said "Dad... Harmony... I don't wanna die. I don't wanna die." 

Klaus pushed us back so he could look at her and said "I know, your not gonna die, sweetheart your not gonna die, I found away to save your life... and everything is gonna be better in the morning I promise you." Hope never let me go so when he pulled her into a hug he also pulled me into one as well. Caroline and the girls came and Klaus said "Can the girls help? Please Caroline I'm begging you." Caroline said "Yes, Ric has agreed to give the girls a choice." the girls pulled me up to them and we stared at each other then Lizzie said "Yes we will help, we are doing it for Hope because no kid should die and Harmony because Josie and I couldn't imagine loosing each other, twins have a unique bond even those who don't see eye to eye." Klaus said "Lets go to town spend some time together, Harmony would you care to join us?" Caroline said "Thats a good idea, Butterfly why don't you go with them?" 

I said "Ok sure it could be fun." the twins gave me a hug and Josie said "Have fun." I said "I will." Jason pulled the waistband of my skirt to his body as he kissed me, he said "Be safe." I said "I will, can I change out of the uniform first?" Klaus said "Of course you can Harm." Jason sped me to my room and he sat on my bed as I searched my closet until found the perfect outfit.
