Storm woke up chained to the floor. Terrific. Alora, of course, was walking around him and studying his wings, tail, teeth, and probably more blood. What is it with her and her creepy check-up sessions? I hate this. If only I could get loose... Storm began to struggle and attempted to yank his body out of the chains. "Oh I wouldn't do that if I were you..." Alora said creepily. Storm didn't care. I'm so close! Just one more tug... Alora walked over and stuck a needle in his neck. Suddenly, Storm's entire body went numb. He felt his eyes start to close. What did she do to me? The world faded into nothingness.

Chirp, chirp, chirp.

Storm moaned as he woke up and found himself... outside. Ok, that's was much more preferred than Alora's floor. After his head cleared, Storm took to the sky. He loved it up here. In the clouds, he could let his worries and questions drift away. The deep, blue ocean in front of him seemed to go on forever. Why don't I just keep going? Why don't I leave? Storm hated this question. Because the answer was always the same. He couldn't. There wasn't anything out there for him. His only family and friends were here, here on this sanctuary island. Plus with his differences... he couldn't survive properly. Storm needed to stay with his mother and Alora, to enable his survival. Alora... suddenly, Storm's anger sparked. I hate her! She's so mean! Always poking at me, testing me, why can't she just leave me alone! He saw a storm cloud up ahead, a big, black cloud full of water and... lightning. It flashed through the sky, threatening to destroy everything in its path. But, Storm was not afraid. In fact, he glided right into the thunder cloud. He felt more confident and powerful than ever as the lighting flashed around him. He wished he could always feel this way, always have this power...

Lightning flashed again, and this time, it struck Storm on the wingtip. But it didn't hurt, instead, it flickered and then appeared to soak into his body. Storm threw back his head and drew the lightning toward himself. He absorbed it all and it gave him strength, rushing through his veins and fueling his cells. Energy sparked in the back of Storm's throat, and he exhaled hard. Lightning shot across the sky in a thick beam. Storm froze. That was... new. It felt good, but he had never done it before.

Far down below, a figure smirked and takes out a book. Opening it to a page with a drawing of a certain hybrid, she inscribes: Skrill Fury.

BOOM! Done! Reveled lol. I wanted to make it sorta anticlimactic, it was kinda obvious because of the cover and all but still. So what did y'all think? Hopefully you enjoyed!
