Chapter 5

Kaede's POV

OH HE IS NOT BLOWING ME OFF LIKE THAT!

I ran over to Shuichi and Kokichi, slapping Shuichi, feeling tears roll down my eyes, "Y-You're a jerk!" Before I could slap Kokichi I felt Shuichi catch my arm and glare at me, "Don't you fucking dare..."

Kokichi's POV

"S-She almost h-hit..m-me...." I could feel my body shake, while Saihara Chan was holding me. "It's okay.... Kaede overstayed her visit to us in the hall..." Shuichi grabbed my arm walking me down the hall with Kaede dumbstruck.

"S-Saihara C-Chan..." I held onto his arms, feeling Shuichi hold my shoulders, but then we suddenly ran into Rantaro, who was eying me for some reason..,

Why.?....

"Hey Shuichi, Kokichi, why did you guys both ditch on us? I know Kaito and Shuichi were fighting, but why did you need to bring Kokichi with you...?"

Rantaro was obviously trying to pry me, and it made me feel uncomfortable a lot, Shuichi had an arm around my shoulder... I could feel Shuichi grow angrier at the second...

"well Rantaro, if you weren't being so nosey I would tell you, but since that isn't the case.... I don't need to tell you..," Rantaro shoved me away from Shuichi so he could grab Shuichi's shirt collar.

Rantaro had pure hatred in his eyes, "And what are you getting at bitch..." Shuichi winked while pushing Rantaro away, "B-Bitch.?.. that's some smart vocabulary you have..." Shuichi rubbed his neck before smiling widely.

"Why do you even care what I do to him.... let's say... I kissed him... would you be pissed off?..."

It was all so sudden when I heard Shuichi stumble back to the floor, Rantaro had punched him and busted Shuichi's lip, "so you do care if I touch him.., that's good to know..."

Shuichi walked over to me and I felt my instincts kick in, where I ran to Shuichi and hugged him, "Shuichi! Are you okay?!" I grabbed a napkin out of my pocket and wiped Shuichi's lips.

Shuichi glared at Rantaro, winking, which made me confused in a way... Rantaro mumbled under his breath, smiling, "I'll be back..."

"Shuichi are you sure you're-"

Shuichi pulled me into a tight hug, cutting me off completely, he looked up at me, and smiled shyly, "Like I said, I'm fine..."

A small tear ran down my face... I never knew I could be so relieved to know if someone was okay.... "S-Shuichi...." burring my face in his chest, I noticed everyone was looking at us, embarrassed, I had decided to take a walk outside with Saihara Chan.

Shuichi's POV

Kokichi was resting his head on my lap.. everything about him was just so enchanting.... like I was his prince... waiting to save him.. I know it sounds corny but.. that's what I believe, that we were meant to know each other..

I heard Kokichi whine, holding onto my waist as he was startled from Kaito walking over to us, "S-Shuichi..." I stoked Kokichi's hair looking at Kaito, shivering....

Kaito smiled warmly, walking over to us with Kaede and Rantaro..

Damn is he oblivious...

"Yo! Kokichi, Shuichi! Kaede and Rantaro are Da-" Kaede slapped a hand on Kaito's mouth, she obviously felt annoyed, "Keep your damn mouth shut! It's a secret for now!"

Kokichi sat up next to me, and leaned on my shoulder since he was always so much smaller than me... "D-Dating.?. Kaede and Rantaro..?" I could hear Kokichi whisper to himself, and have a sad look on his face.

I held Kokichi's hands and he suddenly stood up and ran back inside of the school to look for an old friend..

Kokichi's POV

Where did he go.. I was looking for my friend Kiibo, he was my best friend since kindergarten, and he was really the only one I trusted..

Until Saihara Chan...

I kinda had a thing for Kiibo, but I still wasn't sure because I already knew that he had a thing for Rantaro... Kiibo was walking my way when I saw Rantaro rush past me to talk to him..

I used to feel jealous but... for some reason.. it's like I don't even care if Kiibo dates someone else...

Hearing Kiibo's quirky laugh, I realized that I didn't like Kiibo... he wasn't the one I wanted all along... but.. he's supposed to be my best friend right.?... why am I having a change of heart...?

"Saihara Chan..." before I knew it I was running straight away.. but I didn't know where I was running to.. I just had to keep running.. hoping I would find him..

Hoping I would find Shuichi..

I had spotted Shuichi, and ran into his arms, not realizing how emotional I was being. Shuichi was talking with Kaede as I was hugging him, once I had caught his attention, he gave me a beautiful smile..

A smile that I could never forget from my prince...

"Saihara Chan..." I mumbled, not wanting to let go of Shuichi, Shuichi might've looked cold hearted.. but his heart was pure....

Shuichi held me, looking into my eyes and smiling, "What? Did you wanna watch danganronpa after school too? The squad is coming! I think you would like it!"

Thinking about it for a while, I realized I would be fine if Shuichi was with me when we were there, "Y-Yeah!" I smiled shyly walking away from Shuichi once I saw Kaede enraged.

"Oh and Ouma Chan, remember to invite Kiibo San over to~" Kaede cooed, obviously knowing that I used to like him...

She would probably tell Shuichi...

"Alright... I'll ask if he wants to go..." I left the two, walking back over to the hall where Kiibo was to ask him.

also time skip to after school

"K-Kaito let him of me!!" I could hear someone yell from the back of the school building... it was weird since I had been looking for Shuichi for the past ten minutes..

I walked over to a corner and peeked with the corner of my eye, and I saw Shuichi on the wall with Kaito holding his wrists up.

"BASTARD YOU REJECTED HER!" Kaito shouted slapping Shuichi, but Shuichi didn't make any reactions.. it was almost like he was used to it..

"I don't love her... I don't love Rantaro.. I don't love you... I'M IN LOVE WITH KOKICHI OUMA!" Shuichi shouted, which made a lot of people walk over to see Kaito abusing Shuichi.

"Kokichi Ouma.?" "He's that one lower classmen" "Aw man I really liked Shuichi.." "Oh my god! This is going all over the internet!" "Ew Kaito I can't believe you actually hit Shuichi.." "Shuichi loves Kokichi Ouma?" "isnt Kokichi that small boy in class D-2?" "Wait Shuichi is gay?!"

I could hear so much talking going at once and it made me overwhelmed.. I then realized that soon everyone was looking right at me..

Before I knew it... I passed out.. cold on the floor.
