Moscow, Russia
Russian-British assassin Sean Adamson breathed out cold air, rubbing his hands together. He has been observing the compound of the US embassy here in Moscow. He was waiting for the opportunity to strike, his target being the Ambassador of the United States to the Russian Federation Samuel Richardson. His client also pays him to assassinate the ambassador at a higher price. His client is the one he has met at the restaurant in London, where he purposely bombed his own apartment to try and kill the man following him that he suspected to be an MI6 agent. No word on the agent though, but he knows that the agent is no threat to him.
His client has been holding a grudge that is enough to drive him to frame his own country for the acts Sean has committed. But Sean has another purpose in mind, a purpose far more personal to him. His childhood is marred with tragedy, which Sean kept in his memories. He remembers the burning down of his house, the screams of his family including his parents. All gone in that winter of the year which the Soviet Union collapsed. Foster care came and went in his life. Shaking off the scars he is trying to lock away Sean stood up from the bench and reached a building's back door entrance. Picking the lock he climbed all the way up to the rooftops, having mapped out the route he will use in this assassination. He chose this location due to the lack of security cameras installed in the building. Waiting for him at the rooftops of the said apartment building is a grey knapsack.
Sirens wailed in the distance, hinting the presence of law enforcement authorities. From Sean's position, it's an ambulance. "Hello." he whispered after opening his knapsack. Inside the knapsack lay a Barrett sniper rifle, broken down in various pieces that can be assembled. "Scope's good, perfect." His burner phone rang as he is busy assembling the rifle. He patched the call through his earpiece due to the current state of his work.
"I noticed that you have reached Russia." a male voice said through the device. "Good." The man, is Sean's employer, a mysterious Russian man who calls himself Mikhail. Sean tracked down his client's true identity but came upon nothing as he finds out that Mikhail, the Russian man's name, is just an alias and his real name is unknown. "Where are you?"
"Doing my job." Adamson replied. "It's a burner phone I'm using, in case if you ever asked."
"As long as you get the job done I don't care about the kind of equipment you use." he said, sounding impatient.
"I have already done your first contract, you should have been starting to see how I do things."
"I have reviewed your profile, hence I hired you. You can slip between nations because of your nationality."
"I do acknowledge that I'm half British." Sean propped the sniper rifle on the tripod inside the bag. "I'm ready." he said, lying down to study his shot. Switching on the thermal vision installed on the scope he searched for his target. It's kind of a potshot for Sean, having served as a sniper in the British army. The ambassador's residence is located on the second floor of the embassy building and Sean easily found his target, his back turned against the window. Smiling to himself Sean pulled the trigger, the bullet flying perfectly from the barrel of the rifle with a silencer attached. The sound of glass crackling can be heard and the ambassador crumpled to the ground after the shot. With the job done Adamson disassembled the sniper rifle, chucking it all inside his knapsack, and headed for the stairs. He got into his getaway vehicle just as sirens started to blare from afar, calling Mikhail. "It's done."
"Well done." said Mikhail. "Then we can proceed to our next plan."
"There are more people that you want to take out?"
"This target is your last boy." Mikhail said with a laugh.
"And why is that?" he asked his employer.
"This time, you're going to America."
"Target?"
"Code name, Lone Star." Mikhail replied, ending the call. Hearing the code name Sean had already known who is his next target. He knows that the code name Lone Star, is the special code name used by the American Secret Service to protect the leaders of that country which is the current Vice President of the United States. But problem is, the vice president, Isabella Reagan, is not a pushover, to begin with. A highly trained fighter in her own right, Sean must plan his assassination carefully in order to fulfill the contract.
