Gotham City

Riding on my motorcycle I entered the city through the bridge as thunder crackled and lightning flashes on the skies. This city is always, in one day or another, raining and tonight is no exception. Lucky that Vicky is soundly asleep in her crib back in the White House with my grandmother caring for her. Before I can go to sleep I got an emergency signal from Bruce's batsuit, prompting me to come to the city. I rarely touched my battlesuit since becoming vice president but it doesn't stop me from giving the suit's design a makeover. Adding a vibranium blue accent to my suit I swapped my necklace from the pendant of a raven to a wolf pendant. I also outfitted a new bracelet that emits a high pitched sonic scream on my right gauntlet while maintaining one more on my neck.

Throwing in a domino mask as an addition I upgraded my weapons which are two sticks that be combined to form a bo staff while armed with electric shocking capabilities and a pair of handguns that surely will piss off Bruce. But my battle, my rules. I kept stun disks in the pouch of my utility belt as well as a spool of garrote wire within my gauntlets. The coordinates led me to a depot belonging to Sionis Industries, which brings back a lot of memories. The tech built into my helmet gave me a feedback without a word. According to the feedback the building contains two sections : rooftop and inside the building. I have two choices : be stealthy, or guns ablaze but stealthy is my current and only choice as I could risk killing inncoents if I really go in, guns blazing. I've heard rumors that Oswald Cobblepot, AKA the Penguin, has taken over Roman Sionis' business as well as his assets.

Stopping on a small wooden pier overlooking the depot I disembarked, removing my helmet and grappled up to the nearby rooftop of a shipping yard. Deploying a small drone I sent it flying towards the depot and tapped into my gauntlet's holographic display to have a closer look on the situation on the roof. The drone's feedback screamed bad news as almost all the thugs patrolling the roof have guns in hand. According to the intel compiled by Bruce Penguin is a black market arms dealer, selling weapons to the seedy underbelly of Gotham City. I inhaled a sign and recalled the drone. I noticed the lack of police forces on the street because tonight, there is a gala dedicated to them for their service. Lucky that the depot all have vantage points installed all over the roof, giving me the advantage to launch an ambush. One of the thugs stood unmoving, facing the cold, icy waters of Gotham Bay. Landing behind him without making a sound thanks to the sound absorption technology I clapsed a hand against his mouth and nose, another hand squeezing his neck until he can't breathe and collapsed. A loud booming sound interrupted the tranquil night, a spray of bright colors adorning the skies.

Silently muttering a thank you prayer for the one who released the fireworks I launched my attack, taking down the first pair who halted for the fireworks with my bo staff. A thug whirled when he thought he heard something and he saw me. "Who is this?" he shouted at his teammates.

"It's a woman." his fellow teammate responded. "Who the hell-" wasting no time I attacked again, throwing out a stun disk as the men cocked their guns and fired. The stun disk activates itself upon reaching it's target, shocking the three of men into unconsciousness. Confirming that they're out cold I opened one of the glass panels installed on the rooftop just as I heard the sound of something landing on the roof.

"You've been busy upgrading your suit I see."

"You ditched the suit in the first place." I replied. Bruce crouched down beside me and we observed the insides with caution. Two men were tied to chairs, surrounded by thugs working from the Penguin, judging from the insignia worn on their clothes or in the form of tattoos. Two imposing brutes flanked the only door as the thugs looked upon them. "Those two are new." I pointed out. "Never seen them." Bruce heard it but didn't respond.

"We can either go big or go silent."

"My drone has already given me the choice." I said. "But the choice is up to you Bruce."

"No sign of Cobblepot."

"You think he's waiting?"

"Maybe." Bruce replied. "I know a way." he stood up and paced towards the center of the rooftop. I closed back the panel and moved to his side. We exchanged nods as we performed a smash down, shattering the rooftop glass panels to make our entrance. Bruce landed hard against the unsuspecting thug while I landed on the ground. The thugs stood their ground at first but surround us, forcing us to press our backs against one another. Bringing my sticks close to me I held back my breath as Bruce cracked his knuckles under his gloves. The thug facing him charged towards him but Bruce knocked him down with a blow against his jaw that sent him flying into the air. No longer standing their ground they attacked, viewing me as their primary target. Striking the first thug against his neck I leaped into the air and landed against another one, slamming his head against the tiled floor, knocking him out.

"Catch this, freak!" a thug screamed. When I whirled to face him a knife is flying towards my direction, aiming at my arm. But the knife bounced off upon contact, granting me the opportunity to grab the knife and threw it towards another thug's shoulder. One of the two brutes charged in a mad bull rush, attempting to knock me down. Holding my ground I released the high pitch scream, sending the brute flying towards the metal shutter and knocking him out cold. I repeated the same attack when the second brute turned to Bruce. Combining the sticks together I knelt down and swiped the group off their feet, finishing the fight as Bruce knocked down the last thug.

"You held your own, impressive." Bruce told me.

"I fought a North Korean spy and walked away from it. Not a challenge." when the room is clear we turned towards the two men tied to the chair the entire time. Unfolding a batarang Bruce proceeds to cut the ropes tying both men and waited as they slowly regained their consciousness. I backed away into the shadows and grappled up, leaving Bruce at the depot. Returning to my motorcycle I slipped on my helmet and gunned the engine, making my leave from the city.
