Chapter 13

Brian's POV

Holding her petite figure as she lays in my arms while she continues to explore her Neverland just feels so perfect.
Her chestnut brown locks spread everywhere . Her hazel brown eyes that always look into mine ,confused , were still closed. Her steady breaths . And her slightly parted lips as she slept. Everything just felt right.

Adoring her is just effortless. You just do it. Not wanting to let go of her , I snuggle into her neck and pull her closer to me . She just snuggles closer . I can wake up to this everyday. And if you are wondering why she was sleeping with me ,then, here we go a recap.

So, last night , we were watching the series or kdrama as she calls it . And she fell asleep while watching it , with her head on my leaned on my shoulder. She was so small, that I had to slide down to make her more comfortable. I continued watching the drama , coz I was curious of how it was gonna end. I could get restless till I don't get my answers you see.

I was so into watching it. But tiny whimpers from Kiara got my attention. I try waking her up , but she continues to whimper in her sleep. I had no clue on what to do , so Icalled out her name as I shook her body. She slowly stirs up from her sleep and hugs me tight. I hug her back and stroke her back to comfort her .

And when she finally relaxed and cooled herself down . She spoke .

"Can I--I sle... sleep with you ? I don't think I can sleep alone ."

She looked quite flustered and unsettled. Her ears turned red . With no questioning I just nod my head and smile at her cuteness. I would've offered it to her if she wouldn't have asked me , coz I don't think I'll be able to sleep with how she was scared in her sleep. I intertwine our hands and lead her to my room.

I get under the sheets and pat the empty space beside me . She hesitated at first but later she just gets under it. She lays down with her back to me . I look at her now turned back and wait till I assume she must've drifted into her sleep. But , she kept tossing in the bed , probably afraid to fall asleep or just nervous coz we were sharing the bed. I would prefer the later ,because that would mean I had an effect on her.

"Not sleepy ? " I question.

She turns around to face me. And rests her head on her arms as she looks into my eyes.

"I'm just... not sleepy i guess. Given that I woke up to a nightmare twice today. "

"Why don't we try talking so that you could be sleepy and you get your mind off what happened today ? "  I suggest .

She smiles at my suggestion. And we pretty much started talking about the most random stuff . She chuckled now and then  on my remarks. We rambled about cartoons. And she was so stuck on Mickey mouse.

"I really think Mickey mouse is the cartoon version of rich kids . " I say.

I get nor response in return . So I glance at Kiara and find her fast asleep. Taking this as a chance I pull her into my embrace and wrap my arms around her. She just buried her head into my chest. She was so tiny that she fit perfectly into my arms. I might just get a perfect sleep tonight.

So , that's the end of my tiny recap.
I sense her waking up from her sleep. But I still don't let go of her. I just hold her , not wanting to let go.

"Brian can you let me go. We have work to go for. " she asks as she looks into my eyes. Her eyes were filled with a hint of suprise and a lot of shyness.

"If you don't remember I own the company. I can go anytime I want. "I smirk trying to act snobbish.

"But ,Mr. Lacce , I don't own it , so I gotta go ." Ugh , I can't do anything on that. I don't mind her going late to work but then again it's unfair for others.

So unwillingly I let go of her. But , before that I peck her forehead as I place a strand of her her her behind her ears. She blushed hard in return of my action. She's too adorable for me to handle. And I think anymore of it would be bad cause I might lose my composture. I watch her scurry off of my room. I chuckle at her cuteness.

  I finally updated!! This honestly was a filler chapter . I don't deny that. But I tried.

I haven't been able to update much coz of my college started and that just makes me wanna spend time in other things than my story.
But I'm trying to update.

I'll update soon. I hope so.
