She didn't see Grindelwald at breakfast, and she started worrying; 'Is he avoiding me? Dear Merlin, what have I done?' She was thinking in her room, staring at her now-completed portait of him, and was totally confused. She was just unable to get him out of her mind. His smell was cinnamon, and he tasted like sweet butter beer. Moreover, embarrasing or not, but that was her first kiss. Fortunately it was a very very great memory. Sometimes she could still feel his touch on her back, and the way he looked into her eyes. She was never in love before, and wondered why it hurts so much.
In the afternoon Queenie visited her, because she neither did go down to lunch nor dinner.
"Is everything okay?"
"Yes, everything's fine, why do you ask?"
"Did something happen yesterday?"
"Uhm... Actually, we can say that..."
"Tell me, I want to know everything!" Said Queenie excitedly. So Aurora told her everything about that night, and she was listening with big interest. She was so happy about that, and gave her some advice. For the rest of the evening, she lay desperately on her bed, then decided to put on a vinyl on the player. She had a selection of the most popular romantic songs on it and listened quietly as she was thinking. She wanted to see Grindelwald so much, because she hadn't seen him all day but she was also a little scared. She absolutely didn't know what to do.
Soon after however she heard soft knocking on her door. She quickly turned off the player and then opened the door.
"Good evening, Aurora."
"Good evening, sir, it's so good to see you.""You too, my dear." He said, and she led her inside. "I was busy all day, and I just wanted to check if everything was alright with you. I heard you weren't down to eat. Why is that?"
"Uhmm, I- I wasn't really hungry."
"Is something wrong, darling? Please tell me, I don't want you to have any problems."
"No, I'm fine, thank you. I missed you."
"You did? That's sweet. I missed you too." He reached for her hand. "Care to dance?" He asked, nodding his head to the gramophone.
"Sure, but I'm not dancing well." She breathed, surprised.
"We can work on that." He smiled, and placed his hand on her waist.
They were dancing slowly to the soft music, the girl's body completely flowing into the man's hands. She was utterly enchanted as they slowly moved from one foot to the other and how safe she was with him. She still couldn't believe it was happening. Aurora smiled and lowered her head as her cheeks turned pink.
"You are so beautiful when you blush. Just like any other time." Grindelwald whispered into her ear with a smile.
"Thank you. You're looking fabulous as well." She said. He moved his face closer while they were looking into each others eyes.
Then, that one right moment came and they both closed their eyes, pressing their lips against each other. He ran his fingers down on her jawline, caressing her a little, and she cupped his face into her hands, as she slowly felt his tounge trying to find its way into her mouth.
The music was just playing in the background as their making out seemed never ending. When they broke the kiss for air, she looked at him and said,
"I've never felt like this before."
"Neither me, my dear. I had never experienced nothing like this. You mean so much to me. Do you want me to stay with you, until you fall asleep?" He asked with a smile.
"Only if you don't mind." She replied, smiling.
"Oh, I do not." He smirked.
He placed a gentle kiss on her red lips again, and they started walking towards her bed, where she lay down. Grindelwald gave a kiss on her forehead, and helped her fall asleep by humming a lullaby.
He was there with her until the sun came up. He knew, there was no way to let her go anymore.
